Name: PLATONIC SOLIDS+ — 3D math for your wrist
Rating: 5 (1 reviews)
Author: RickyWristCraft

A pocket-sized 3D math playground for your watch. Spin shapes with a flick, morph them with a slider, fly over endless terrain by tilting your wrist, or look up a math identity, all from one ring menu around the bezel.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Solids: tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, icosahedron, truncated icosahedron (soccer ball) and the stella octangula star.
• Surfaces: 3D graphs of z = f(x, y), including saddle, ripple, egg crate, twin peaks and monkey saddle.
• Curves: helix, trefoil and torus knots, Lissajous curve, spherical spiral and the Lorenz attractor.
• Meshes: torus, sphere, Möbius strip and Klein bottle.
• Morph: shapes with a slider. A superellipsoid that goes from cube to sphere to star, supershape flowers, torus knots (p, q), and the Lorenz system, where you can watch order turn into chaos as ρ passes about 24.7.
• Fly: an endless flight over random mountains in Wireframe, Neon or Shaded style. Tilt your wrist to bank and climb. Pick a terrain seed to fly the same landscape again.
• Identities: over 70 formula cards for algebra, exponents, logarithms, trigonometry, derivatives, integrals and series, with proper math symbols.

CONTROLS
• Ring menu: UP/DOWN or drag around the ring to turn it. Tap a segment or press START to open it.
• Viewer: drag or swipe to spin. START switches what UP/DOWN do: SPIN, ZOOM, LIGHT (7 color and lighting looks) and SHAPE (the slider, on Morph shapes).
• Fly: tilt to steer. UP/DOWN change speed, START changes the style, and a tap re-levels the tilt.
• Settings (hold UP): zoom, spin speed, lighting, terrain seed, random spin and an FPS readout.

Works on round color Garmin watches with touch or buttons. AMOLED watches get extra detail, and smaller MIP watches use lighter meshes so motion stays smooth.

SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT
Platonic Solids+ is free. If you enjoy it, a coffee helps fund more shapes and features:

PERMISSIONS
Sensor: reads the accelerometer, only so wrist tilt can steer the Fly mode.
