Didn’t measure distance nor speed and drained my battery from 97% to 13% on 2hr45min kayak trip. Used on my Venu 2.

On the Gamrin 245 music distance is not tracked an neither is speed. The default activity seems to be sup and not kayak.

Good app many thanks - having the numbers larger would make this app perfect! (its currently difficult to read when the watch is on the kayak)

Doesn’t track your gps and ultimately doesn’t show you your gps path at the end. Pretty poor from this app

This is near perfect. It solves the problem of Garmin choosing which metrics are available. I have installed it on Vivoactive 4 and Fenix 6x. It shows stroke rate from my paddle mounted cadence meter (watch mounted to kayak). The display is not cluttered like other paddle apps. The number of fields and what the fields show is completely adjustable. I absolutely recommend this!

Comes up as SUP when synced. I do not like this. Please fix it. The SUP app is different.

I'm sorry Kayak PRO disappointed you. That is not a bug and therefore won't be fixed. The "Kayak" profile saves the activities in speed units (km/h) but for my trainings I needed pace (min/km). I figured out the "SUP" profile does that. That's the only way to get the pace. I know it might be annoying (I too am a perfectionist) but I am willing to see a wrong profile to have that feature in particular.

A fantastic app, works great on my Forerunner 245. This maybe a Garmin bug, but on Garmin Connect the max speed shown is my speed on my bicycle (43.7 mph!). I know I haven’t gone that fast on the kayak! And the activities are definitely tagged correctly :) Thank you again - this is a great app. Joseph

Works really great ! Thanks for the app ;) Just one comment : when you click on resume later (while you stopped the activity), if you click on 'continue' after a break, the activity stats are just displayed but the activity is still paused (i believe that Garmin app start automatically from there ?). I did not see it immediately and did few miles before realizing that the watch was still paused and not recording my activity. I don't know if anything can be made to ameliorate that ?

Good, but with strange bug: activity named as kayak and stored with SUP type

It's actually not a bug, but a workaround I used to save the activity with the pace units. The kayak profile saves the activity with the speed units (km/h) which is something I am not used to. The sup profile instead saves it with the pace (min/km).

2 problemi.
