Thank you for making a great app! I just installed the web app and had a trouble with deploy. Finally, I found that the soltion is adding werkzeug==0.16.0 in requirements.txt. Best,

Well made option for those who don't mind getting their hands dirty. I have a Vivoactive 4 and have found that trying to skip ahead by 30 seconds crashes the current podcast you're listening to- this seems to be a theme with all podcast apps (except Runcast) on the Garmin platform. I have found that as a work around that if you pause the podcast then skip by 30 seconds first that the podcast does not crash. If the developer is able to add an option that would enable automatically pauses prior to skipping for 30 seconds this would would be 5 stars in my book.

Used to be great; run a server on your PC, sync the Android app and the watch, easy peasy. Now you need some nonsense account somewhere, my existing database in inaccessible because the apps updated out from under me, and the new setup instructions don't work at all. Why did you break something perfect?!

Because it wasn't perfect for me. The account is just that many deploy on servers and so it's just security. Deployment became easier for non-technophile Heroku life. Feel free to send me an emial so I can help you install it at home if you don't have a server it's just a python to run.

It looks promising, but I'm unable to make it works. I've already installed the android app but I'm unable to add any podcast into it. Need I also to install a server on my computer? Reading the description it seems that's not necessary, but it keeps saying that was not able to connect to 192....

I was able to use your app along with the python server on my home Ubuntu laptop to download podcasts to my Forerunner. Thanks! This saved me from having to sign up for Spotify premium. I have an Apple phone so I did not have a front end, but I used the “addPodcastRss()” function to manually subscribe to the podcasts that I know and love.

Working very well! Includes even a Docker file. A must have for self-hosters with a Garmin watch. Cudos for putting this together and packaging it for the rest of us!

For tech savvy users only. This app works. I had some issues starting out but the developer released an update that fixed it. You have to be able to setup and run your own server. If you are tech savvy enough to that this app works well.

It works perfectly to sync podcasts and the fact that it is necessary to setup an own server is certainly not easy for everyone. But this constrain is nothing against the benefits: privacy and control of the system. For me the best music provider with the synchronization through a cable with garmin express

I got the server running and can connect and manage podcasts through the companion Android app. I am unable to get the watch app to connect, even with the same settings used in the Android app. If I can get it working I'll update my review.

It works. And this is the only application that allows free Wi-Fi synchronization. It’s just not for everyone. To deploy your own server, you need knowledge.
