This datafield gets your CGM bloodglucose readings directly from xDrip+ app (Android only) and - if you have closed the loop with AndroidAPS - a loopstatus line. If you change the settings you can use this datafield also with Spike app (iOS only) or with a web request from your Nightscout installation.

This datafield also works with Diabox if "Share data with smartwatches" is enabled (Diabox: Settings - Integrations) and "xDrip+" is selected in the watchface settings (Garmin Connect Mobile).

PLEASE NOTE

---

Some edge devices enable WiFi when they are powered on and not recording an activity. In this case no Bluetooth connection to the smartphone will be established. If you don't receive any values on your edge device, check if there is a Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. Disable WiFi.

---

The datafield uses a background process which can run at most every five minutes. The datafield tries to get as close as possible to the time of the last measurement. So it may happen that you have to wait up to 10 minutes from one reading to the next one. If this is the case you will see a watch icon on the datafield.

It is great. Just be aware that it can be 10mins behind (plus interstitial fluid 15mins) so potentially 25 mins max. delay. The 10min potential delay is a shame, but I guess as good as is possible. But taking everything into account it is very useful. Especially, compared to where we were a few years back! Many thanks to the developers!

Version 2.30
Had already installed the XDrip+ Widget on my Edge 820 and Forerunner 235. This app allows me to insert a cgm datafield into my Edge 820 screen to track my glucose trend through an activiy, in real time, with no swiping to find the widget on another data screen. Great to see it alongside your power, speed, cadence, etc. Excellent. I now need to upgrade my watch as it's too old tech. to run a data field, only a widget.

Super Feld. Es macht mit den Sport so viel einfacher. Ein Blick zeigt neben Pace auch den Blutzucker. Super. Sogar der Verlauf wird wie die anderen Werte mir aufgezeichnet. Klasse gemacht Andreas. Danke dir. Hoffe wir sehen unsal wieder beim IDAA. LG

Thank you so much Andreas-May for making this as well as the Watchface app. By far it's the most important feature of my entire Garmin watch. Really makes my intense, long workouts doable when I can quickly make decisions on blood sugar with a quick glance at the watch

Thank you for your nice review! xDrip+ for iOS has to implement a webservice like xDrip+ for Android has: https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip/blob/master/Documentation/technical/Local_Web_Services.md If this is the case it's easy to support this app. I'm not using an iPhone. Please write me if this is possible or planed - or if you find a documentation of a similar web service: [email protected] Thanks!

Some edge devices enable WiFi when they are powered on and not recording an activity. In this case no Bluetooth connection to the smartphone will be established. If you are testing the app at home and you don't receive any values on your edge device, check if there is a Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. Disable WiFi.

Sehr tolle App bzw. Datenfeld. Das Datenfeld kann in beliebigen Sport Apps zb. Bergsteigen, angezeigt werden. Auf einem Blick sehe ich neben Höhe, HF oder Uhrzeit usw auch den Blutzuckerwert. Unbezahlbar!

Brilliant. I've only being using xDrip+ for a short while (with the Libre and MiaoMiao) but having this data visible when cycling is so good.
