Collect and display data from a "SmartRow" rowing power meter.

This data field will collect power, distance, pace and stroke length from the rower power meter. After adding this data field to the indoor rowing app, it will connect to the power meter and cycle through distance, power and pace. Each metric will be displayed for two seconds. If you choose a layout with only one field, the force curve will be displayed. The connection is handled in the data field. Do not use the built-in "Add New Sensor" option since this is not a standard sensor supported by Garmin.

Love it! If it would be possible to see the pace & distance in the ConnectIQ summary, that would be the cherry on top!

Not sure I understand what you mean. If it is the distance and pace field in Garmin Connect, that is a limitation of ConnectIQ data fields imposed by Garmin. It is not possible for a ConnectIQ data field to change the distance. You have to edit the activity on the Garmin Connect app or web after saving it, and then copy the ConnectIQ distance field to the regular distance field. Then Garmin Connect will show distance and average pace for the activity. If you mean something else, please use the Contact Developer option to send more info. Please include your email address so I can reply.

Thank you for your effort. It is wonderful that this is possible now. I have to confess that I was hoping you'd grab the data from the broadcast function of the SmartRow app, so that one could be running in series with the Garmin. Well, I guess you can't have all. Really. Thank you!

5 Stars for the idea and for further development. Not clear how to connect "automatically" to a Concept2 rowerg. So far i couldn't be able to use it. Please if you could explain a little bit better how to connect to the rowerg, it would be appreciated.

hey I was desperately seeking for two weeks something and today gave one more hit and this appears, seems it's working! Only thing I'm curious SR doesn't broadcast ANT so BLE module can maintain only 1 connection? Best would if we can keep modes for SR plus Garmin as SR has nice UI for during workout I was primary looking to get data from training at one place. Thank you for this at least, happy to donate for development!
