Excellent App and really excellent customer service. I agree with several of the reviewers, it would be good to be able to set up and save parameters for different sports in Garmin Connect, and then be able to access these different sports, each with their own parameters, from the watch. I do multiple sports, and therefore I train with different HIIT set ups. Looking forward to seeing this upgrade, thanks!

Hi Mica, The app doesn't explicitly do anything with calories, but it stores a standard Garmin exercise record in which calories are typically included. However, the best way to do this is to download the app and try it! (The first workout doesn't need a licence, so you can try before you buy.) That way, you can workout whether or not it does what you need. I purchased the app after testing it one time. Test was perfect, just what i searched for to do intervall-Training, don´t matter which sport. Easy to configure, worked from the first time. Payment was also eays to handle. Had only one question regarding sound between intervalls etc, because i only have vibration alert. But i am in contact with the developer. If he has a solution i will give 5 stars.

The BEST Hiit timer out there. I love it. Highly recommend & worth paying for- I've been a customer for a few months, pre-payment requirement and knowing how good it is I paid to continue to use it. The count down to rest/work is fab. Its easy to set up & change as you adapt workouts. However, in the last couple of weeks the HIIT timer has started to record GPS when in training/cardio mode. Is there a way to turn that off? I just want it to record my HIIT workout. The app is brilliant, just a niggle that it looks like I'm outside running when I'm doing an indoor Hiit Workout. Thankyou.

This is the only usable HIIT app on this awful app store so I'm grateful for it. There are a few improvements that can be made: - You shouldn't have to go into the app store to modify the settings, they should be modifiable parameters from within the app itself or within Garmin Connect. - It was disappointing to have to input my payment information on a third party site. - The customization of the data fields and layouts aren't as good as native activity tracking. - The total interval count is useless. In a standard 20-30 min session, I don't need to see the total interval count, I want to see "set 3/4, interval 2/6" or something along those lines. - The sound is not modifiable. Why is there sound both kn my watch and phone? That makes no sense. What if I want to disable one or the other, or both?

Wow! Thanks for the very detailed review, there is a lot there to think about. Another person has suggested some related changes, so I will take a look at the set labels as part of that (it may be next week as I have a few things on). Not sure what you mean about the notifications sounding on your phone? I only specify alert code for the Garmin, so it is probable that there is a preference on whatever app you are using on the phone that you can change to stop it playing in both places. However, for the HIIT Timer itself, there is a notification preference to allow you to specify either just vibration, just tone, vibration and tone, or nothing at all - please see the "Notification style" setting in settings. This App requires payment to use. It says first workout is free. However, from the moment I installed the App I have a notification right over the top of my screen requiring me to go to a website to pay. At first I thought it was Spam or adware because the notification doesn't refer to the App name. In addition to this. It isn't a normal notification it covers the watch face preventing me from using most of my watch and cannot be removed. Bad approach to marketing.

Really good app... I use it for running HIIT session. Lots of short intervals 20s when I programme that in to a workout my FR645 spends most of the time stuck on he ping screens. This app does a great job of swapping quickly giving feedback for when you are about to change between efforts and rest. Red Amber and green with hr reported during rests. Brilliant. And develop responds lightning fast to queries. Even user error.. ;-)

Thanks Cris, 3/ is an easy change - I’ll try to get it in as an option for next build. Not clear about the other two. For 1/ are you saying you want the count to be across all sets? So if you had three sets of seven, each interval would be numbered out of 21 rather than 7? For 2/ I think you mean the notifications? They were requested to play down 3,2,1 change to prepare people for the transition. Changing them is easy, but not sure what’s needed! G

This app is what i needed, works super good and very easy to use. Useful to pretty much every type of workout I do. The fact that I can save HIIT-times is very useful and if you need a another one just grab you phone and make a new one in connectID. My favorite app on my forerunner 735xt.
