Name: Ronnie · Contour: Topo Map Tactical Face
Author: Surf_n_Paddle

The whole dial is a topographic map: flowing contour lines over shaded relief, a bolder index contour, a map grid, a numbered map edge and a north arrow, with the time in clean map-margin boxes and two field instruments set into the map.

The contour for your altitude band glows, with your altitude written on it like a spot height. It's a stylised gauge that climbs as you do, not a real map of where you are.

• Big 24-hour time, always, with seconds when you raise your wrist
• Your position in latitude and longitude (or whole degrees, or off)
• The date and the day of the year
• An altimeter whose scale is the nine contour bands, with your band lit
• A needle barometer with a 3-hour trend arrow
• Or swap either instrument for battery days, temperature, heart rate or steps
• The next sunrise or sunset
• Contour interval of your choice: 50, 100, 250 or 500 m (100, 250, 500 or 1000 ft)
• A ring of minute marks with the current minute lit
• 5 map themes: Night map, Survey paper (made for bright sunlight), Olive, Glacier and Night red for dark-adapted eyes
• A clean, dim always-on mode for AMOLED screens
• Follows your watch's units for altitude, pressure and temperature
• Tap a reading to open its Garmin widget (touchscreen watches)

Position, sunrise and sunset need a location from your watch's weather or GPS. Anything your watch doesn't provide shows as "--".
