The WOO Sports app allows you to connect your Garmin Watch to your WOO 3.0 device. It will display jumps live while you are out on the water, and also show GPS metrics from the Garmin Watch. The GPS recording will be uploaded to your Garmin profile. </p><p></p><p>https://docs.woosports.com/docs/garmin-faq-troubleshooting</p><p></p><p>On compatibility, note that the firmware on older watches doesn't support the Garmin Bluetooth SDK. Garmin introduced the Bluetooth SDK (meaning apps can use Bluetooth to connect to 3rd party devices like WOO) about a year ago, all old devices (e.g. fenix 5) are not compatible with it. Only the newest ones are compatible. Unless Garmin releases a firmware update for old watches to support the Bluetooth SDK, we cannot make our app compatible with those watches.</p>
ALERT: There seems to be a Garmin firmware issue related specifically to the newest watch models like Fenix 7 that causes GPS not to connect. After the fixing of the latest issues here reported, about few days ago, and which I also experienced by myself, now i see both the woo and the garmin tracks downloaded in the woo app, but the app doesn't allow them to merge correspondently into one single gps+woo session.

Woo is not getting the gps info from Garmin. Session shows in Woo but no data. Data is showing correctly in Connect app and Strava too, just not in the Woo app. Woo or Garmin app problem?

Same problem here: since last update, woo app will not record GPS!!! I did EVERYTHING, including resetting my watch to factory settings. I’m using a Fénix 7 sapphire solar. No GPS ready signal

I'm happy you published the GPS stand-alone session tracker but probably the best user experience is to choose at beginning between a WOO+GPS or GPS only session.

Connection between Garmin & Woo works perfect. Too many data fields shown and therefore difficult to read. @developer. Consider a flexible format so user can select the number of data fields and what data to be shown.

Really love the app, the latest update is great! The fields are nice. Only since 2 wks I have errors with saving Big air session from WOO device. Maybe I'm not following the correct order when stopping session and exit app..? Which device should I stop and exit first or doesn't it matter at all? After stopping, a mix of green/red light stays on WOOdevice and 'hangs' for a few minutes before turning off. No visible problem with Garmin watch. Data is stored. BigAir data in Woo app is gone...nothing to upload, only freeride session can be uploaded from Garmin. In Garmin app the jumps are visible in Jump IQ. So I know the connection was ok, because I saw the jumps during the session too. Only problem with saving.. The error happened twice last 2 wks. Is there a solution? TnX
