It is great that I can track my climbing with this app. It‘s helpful that you can track each climbing route and its climbing grade to get an overview of all the climbing routes you managed in each climbing session. And it is also good, that I can record the time I spent climbing. Because it counts to my garmin activities and I can see the training effect it had. And the support is great! I contacted the developer and got an answer back in a few hours! Really good!

Very nice APP. Nice interface and easy to use. But I miss something in bouldering activities. If you are doing some resistence trainning, doing lateral movements and having little gain of elevation, the APP records nothing, only the time and the HR. It would be interesting to have a movement counter, such as strokes in swimming or paddling in SUP. Something that counted the number of movements with the gyroscope (x2, to be read only one arm). Boulders less than 4 meters also doesn´t count anything and indoor boulder trainning it is rare to have boulders higher than 4 meters. It is already great, thanks again for the APP.

Great app! I’m using it every training, climbing and bouldering

Overall, very pleased with the app! Badically exactly what i was hoping for in and indoor climbing wall tracker.
Not sure if user error but I was confused to find that climbing wall selection for difficulty only went up to 8. Climbing in a gym in the US using the 5.x grading scale and my gym goes as has at 5.13d.
(Separate issue) the actual climbing ascent measured pretty much dead on but every descent I ended up about 25 ft below my previous starting elevation. Elevation plot looks pretty funny with about 150 feet difference between max and min when the gym is only about 12 meters tall.

Hi guys, I'm a fan of the app. Not sure if you can fix either of these for me, but when I've conpleted certain moves the watch wants to know if I've had a sucess climb or not, but I haven't completed the climb. Also, its indoors and its telling me the routes are 10m when the wall is 18m.

Altitude evaluation is based on the watch' barometer, which is not 100% accurate, so the mismatch between the wall's altitude and the watch evaluation can't be fixed unfortunately. Still, the altitude climb graph generated by the app in Garmin Connect might give you a general comparison between climbs. But in any case, in the app's menu you can set "Auto Lap on Descent" to "No", and then it'll stop trying to prompt for success when it "thinks" you ended the climb.

Works quite good, some improvements for me:
- The selection of the difficulty in two steps (number and plus/minus, in my case) is useless, for me it would be much easier to have just up/down on a single value combining both, like 5, 5+, 6-, 6, 6+, ... (similar for other grades)
- In the Connect IQ section, it would be great to have per difficulty counts/ascents, ... as well
- In the laps, the columns in the portrait mode, are completely useless for this Climbing app; if I turn to landscape, it shows what I need to know but I need to scroll rightmost, it is all far too inconvenient to be useful (I can imagine, that this may not be under your control, as it could be Garmin app limit, perhaps we could request Garmin to improve)

Very good app! Easy and intuitive interface.
A bug is that climbing grade and whether it was successful do not show in Garmin connect on the lap tab for the activity (only ’—’ is shown). Would be great if that could be fixed

Hi, that seems to be an issue in Garmin Connect web for quite a while. Please try in the Connect Mobile app, in Android at least, it does show this info correctly if you rotate the phone horizontally while in the Laps section.

it would be awesome if it would upload on garmin connect as "climbing".
July 2, 2018 | Version 2.6.8
Great app! Fairly intuitive interface and button configuration. Good job!
May 26, 2018 | Version 2.5.1
@bojan, in my case the phone flip only when I click on Lap., then you needto scroll right to see additional data.

Hi, me again. I love app but still have problem displaying results in Garmin connect. Developer says, that we get extra fields in summary, in laps section we can see grades and routes and two extra graphs in graphs section. I can only see this last two graphs. Previous info in summary and laps section are missing. I contact developer and he wrote, that I must flip phone, when click on lap section to see extra fields, but my phone won’t flip. I belive, there is nothing wrong with my setting or phone, becouse flip screen works perfect in other apps, also I can flip phone in this app in graph section and works fine. I just can’t get screen to flip in lap section, to see all routs by grade and succesful climb. Anyone?

Good application once we understand how it work.
It's would be great if the levels for climbing start with 4A and not with 5A for the beginners.
May 21, 2018, eran_levi
ok, added 4A.
May 18, 2018 | Version 2.4
I have comment about Fontainebleau grades. The grades are missing +. Now ia option just 6a, 6b, 6c... Grades are follow in this order 6a, 6a+, 6b, 6b+.... Please, add this in options for Fontainebleau grades. Of course, more complex option will be also 6a, 6a+, 6a+/b, 6b.... If you will provide this options, then you win with this app.

Added + to the latest version.
May 15, 2018 | Version 2.2
Cool idea, but as already mentioned: the information "Climbs summary" is lost after completion of the activity. How can I display this information in garmin connect?
May 15, 2018, eran_levi
Hi, you can see in the laps section in Connect each climb and whether successful or not. Flip the mobile phone horizontally to see these 2 extra fields. There are also 3 extra fields in the Summary section and 2 graphs
May 14, 2018 | Version 2.2
I've yet to use the app really. I have the Forerunner 735XT and every time I've gone to use the app it starts the timer then goes to an error screen. I did read that this could be a memory problem on my end which I'll try to rectify, but in the mean time I just want to share my experience. I hope I can get this app to work. I'm super excited to use it.
May 14, 2018, eran_levi
Sorry it doesn't work for you. If you connect the watch to a computer, please send me (via feedback) this app's logs from GarminAppsLogs.
May 7, 2018 | Version 2.2
I have the vivoactive hr. After saving my Boulder the summary is shown. Now I can't start the next Boulder or do sthg else. I can only leave the app by left button.
How should it work? Somebody else with this problem?
May 15, 2018, eran_levi
Hi, after each climb, you should press the Lap key to switch to rest mode then Lap again when you climb. Only in the end of the activity press Start (tap the screen) and save. Send me via feedback if it doesn't work for you as described.
May 4, 2018 | Version 2.2
I am really excited about this app, but on my Vivoactive HR it seems to be in a neverending loop. I can't seem to send the entire activity.
If I press the start button (right button) once I'm in the activity I would expect that to also stop the activity like it does for other activities. This button doesn't do anything. And the back button (left button) just takes me to select climb level.
How do I close out the activity altogether?
April 20, 2018 | Version 2.1
Great. It works as advertised!
April 18, 2018 | Version 1.5
Really nice. But i have a vivoactive 3 and dont understand how i can tell it that a climb failed. If i swipe left, it just starts the resting.
April 19, 2018, eran_levi
I'm using the build in confirmation dialog. On the simulator, swiping up / down switches between yes / no on Vivoactive 3. On the watch it could be that swiping left / right is the way. I can change to another type of dialog, let me know via feedback if you aren't able to use any swipe method to select.
April 16, 2018 | Version 1.5
Nice app! It would be great if it had option to train series in boulder, without height (4 meters). That counted the number of movements with the gyroscope (x2, to be read only one arm).
March 31, 2018 | Version 1.4.6
Yes! Please add the Yosemite Decimal System! Thank you so much!
March 29, 2018 | Version 1.4.5
So far really enjoy the app. If possible adding the Yosemite grade system for wall climbing would be really useful. This is widely used throughout most of the American climbing community and would help all of us out! Thanks for the great work!
April 19, 2018, eran_levi
Added Yosemite as some users requested. Thanks for the feedback.
March 13, 2018 | Version 1.4.5
Tried the app yesterday and i absolutely love it, it worked great! When i bought my Fenix 5S i also wanted to create something similar but never found the time. I'm very happy someone finally did and i would like to contribute to this project if possible :)
I gave it 4 stars for now because it's not possible to review your stats or i am missing something.
March 4, 2018 | Version 1.4
Tried it out today. Great app. Would be nice to save summary of all climbs so look back on!
