Name: Manx Live
Author: Manx

**App name**: Manx Live

**Short description** (one line):
Live heart rate to your Manx workout, and the next level on a guided machine on your wrist.

**Description**:

Manx Live connects your watch to Manx, a personal training app. It needs a Manx account; without one it does
 nothing useful.

Open Manx Live at the start of a workout and your heart rate (and cadence, power and speed from paired sensors)
appears on the Manx workout screen on your phone every few seconds, with its zone and trend.

On a guided bike, treadmill or rower programme, the watch shows the level to set now, how long it lasts and what
comes next. It buzzes three seconds before each change and again at it, so you can keep your eyes off the phone.

Lifting: with a lift open in Manx, run the whole set on your wrist. Adjust the weight and reps, time the set, rate
how it felt, and rest with a countdown. Each set is logged in Manx as if you had tapped it on the phone.

Press START to record the session as a normal Garmin activity, so it still appears in Garmin Connect.

Pairing: the watch shows a six-letter code; type it into Manx under More → Watch & health. It stays paired.

Manx Live needs the Garmin Connect app running on your phone to reach Manx. Readings are kept for up to two minutes
when the phone is out of range and sent when it is back.

**Category**: Health & Fitness, or the nearest the form offers **(check)**.

**Price**: free.

**What the permissions are for** (the store lists them; this is what each is used for):

| Permission | Used for |
|---|---|
| Communications | Sending readings and logged sets to your Manx, and receiving the guided course and the lift in hand, through Garmin Connect on the phone. |
| Sensor | Heart rate from the wrist or a chest strap, and cadence, power and speed from paired bike sensors or a foot pod. |
| Fit | Recording the workout as a Garmin activity when you press START. |

**Privacy** (for the description or the privacy field, if asked):
Manx Live sends your heart rate, cadence, power, speed and the sets you log only to the Manx account you paired it
with, through the Garmin Connect app. Nothing is sent to anyone else, and there are no adverts or tracking.
