Description

This data field provides you the pace you'd have if you run on level ground with the same intensity. Ideal for when you use a training plan with prescribed pace and are running on a hilly terrain.</p><p></p><p>Version 1.1: added support for miles, less smoothened elevation for more direct response.</p><p>Version 1.2: improved pace calculation algorithm

Great idea, but totally useless if there is no smoothing, the figures are all over the shop!

Great concept but the formula is not working

I really like the idea but I'm not sure about the formula - on my 920xt (set in miles) it totally overcorrects - running 9:00 miles up a hill reads as 3:09, and 6:00 miles back down reads as 57:something. Strava's Grade Adjusted Pace gives about 5:20 and 8:20 for that run. It's also crashed on my watch (displays Connect IQ logo only) but that could be the watch software?
