What’s New

NOTICE: With the recent Vivoactive 3 firmware update (6.9 for VA3, 4.9 for VA3M, and I believe 3.8 for VA3LTE), Garmin has a battery drain issue. It is discussed in numerous threads, but no word from Garmin on a fix:</p>

Is it normal that battery life with this watchface has decreased to less than a whole day running in a Fenix 5x with 14.20 software version?

For maximum battery life, turn off the watchface setting, "Display seconds", which is on by default for compatible watches.

Brilliant! Thanks to the developer. I can now much more easily track my little boy's bloods when we're out and about. Keep up the great work! The more customisation we can have over the watchface design the better (an analogue option maybe?)... but I'm just being greedy :)

Perfect. Everything I need on my wrist. Using AndroidAPS through Nightscout, xDrip+.

My defacto watchface. Not the prettiest one in the world but immensely functional and keeps me in the loop (no pun intended) as to how my blood sugar is doing. Great job building + maintaining.

The app seems to be working very well for me. But is there a way to change the refresh time? It seems to be refreshing data every 10 minutes for me but I want to change to refresh every 5 minutes. Thanks

Hi, glad you can use it. This watchface will update every 5 minutes and uses the first several readings to sync up with the time your CGM updates. This period should last less than 30 minutes, if you keep the watchface visible and the phone connected. If you see laggy updates after that please contact me thru the store link.

The watch face is excellent with the recent upgrade. All I want to know is there.

Thanks for app! I am looking for the new version to be able to get the data directly from Xdrip.

Thank you for the very useful watchface. Would it be possible to add support for reading direct from Xdrip+?

Yes absolutely, xdrip/Spike/openaps direct support will be in the next version. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for the very useful watchface. Would it be possible to add battery status and steps to the watchface? This would be perfect and I would be very greatful :-)

Hi, thanks for your feedback, glad you like it! Yes, I am considering adding steps (and heart rate) to the watchface, but not sure when that will happen as I have other enhancements coming first.

Thank you so much for the developer for working on this. It is a simple watchface, but definitely does the trick. Latest update includes direction arrows for blood sugar trends. Developer is very responsive. I couldn't get the watchface working and he helped me figure out the issue (needed to put in "https" rather than "http" for my site address).

Can't add my Nightscout site on the setup page in Garmin Express. Can't use the Watchface.

You do have to use Garmin Connect on the phone to change the settings for this app, it seems to be a Garmin Express issue.
