HOW IT WORKS
Step 1:
Set your preferred home airport ICAO code and search radius (in miles) via the Garmin ConnectIQ app: Device - My Watch Faces - METAR Pilot GMT Master - Settings.

Step 2:
The app updates METAR data every 5 minutes. Please allow time for the sync cycle.

Step 3 (Optional for GPS Update):
Long - press the watch face to open the free GPS Locator companion app (must be installed separately).
Wait up to 30 seconds for GPS lock, and the watch face will refresh nearby METAR - reporting airports - shown on the bezel.

Important: Watches do not update GPS in the background. Use GPS-related apps like Running/Cycling or our “GPS Locator” app to refresh your position manually.
