IMPORTANT: This is a companion watch face for the game Universe Battle. It is not a stand‑alone watch face: you need the free Universe Battle app and a free account to use it.
-----------------------------------
This watch face is only useful if you play Universe Battle, the space-empire game where your steps fuel everything. Install the free Universe Battle app first, create your account, and then link this face to it. Without an account it shows the time, your steps and a link code — nothing else.

WHAT IT PUTS ON YOUR WRIST

  • Your mines, for real. The left bar shows the actual output of your mines: your steps x your energy, from 0 to 150%, with a mark at 100%. Most screens only show half of that number; this one shows what your mines are really doing.
  • An incoming attack. A red countdown the moment a fleet launches at one of your planets — or "CLOAKED" when the attacker hides its arrival time. It stays visible in always-on mode, so you see it without lifting your wrist.
  • Your resources, live. Iron, crystal, uranium and fuel of your active planet, ticking up between syncs from your real production per hour, and stopping when a store is full.
  • One info line, your choice: what you are building and how long is left, your fleet's next arrival (there or back), or your Momentum bag.
  • The right bar, your choice: your Momentum bag, your fullest store, your uranium tank, or your progress to the next era. It turns amber or red when something is being wasted — steps that no longer fit, production overflowing.
  • Your planet rises as you walk. Drawn in the colours of its own world type, it climbs higher with every step you take today.
  • Time, date, battery and today's steps, plus a sky of stars.

IT ALSO PLAYS THE GAME FOR YOU WHILE YOU WALK

The face sends your steps on its own, so your mines run at today's rate without opening the app. You choose how often it syncs — every 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or never — in the face settings, and pick the balance you want between fresh data and battery.

HOW TO SET IT UP

  1. Install the free Universe Battle app and create your account.
  2. Pick this face on your watch. It shows a 7-character code.
  3. Go to stepsbattle.com/ubface, sign in, and type the code.
  4. Your 7 free days start right there.

  FREE TRIAL AND PRICE

7 days free from the moment you link it. After that: €3.99 for one year or €9.99 for life. Both are one-off payments — nothing renews on its own and nothing is charged again. The licence belongs to your account and works on one watch at a time; if you change watch, just link the new one.

Payment is handled on stepsbattle.com, not through the Connect IQ store. VAT included. If the licence ends, the face keeps showing the time and your steps.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Universe Battle account (free).
  • A phone connection for syncing. Without it, the face keeps showing the last data it received, and says how long ago it was.

Works on round, square and 1-bit screens, and dims to time-only in always-on mode to protect AMOLED displays.
