WARNING: This app is intended only as an aid during flight and must not be used as a primary source of information. If the app contains a barometric altimeter, it will not work in a pressurized aircraft and must not be used in such an aircraft. Skylog is an aid: your official logbook and the regulations always remain leading.

Skylog logs your flights from GPS and tells you how long you stay current. Start a flight before you taxi and the watch records off-block when you start rolling, every take-off and landing from your ground speed, airborne time, night time from the sun's position and on-block when you park. Touch-and-goes count as landings, and full-stop landings are kept apart for the FAA night rule.

From your own log Skylog works out, per aircraft class, the date until which you are current: 3 take-offs and landings in 90 days (FAA 14 CFR 61.57 or EASA FCL.060), night currency (EASA one night take-off and landing, FAA three full-stop landings between one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise), IFR experience in six calendar months, LAPL recency over 24 months and progress towards revalidating your SEP rating by experience. Medical, SEP, IR and flight review dates sit on the same list, and the glance shows the next one to expire.

WHAT IT DOES
- Automatic block time, flight time, take-offs and landings from GPS, with adjustable take-off and landing speeds
- Night time by civil twilight, and the separate FAA one-hour-after-sunset rule for currency
- Currency valid-until dates: day 3 in 90 days, night, IFR (6 approaches and holding), LAPL 24 months
- SEP revalidation by experience: hours, PIC hours, take-offs and landings, instructor time before expiry
- Medical, SEP, IR and flight review expiry with days left
- Logbook with 240 flights: departure and destination codes, aircraft, role (PIC, dual, co-pilot, instructor), approaches and holding
- Add or correct flights by hand, totals for 90 days, 12 months and all time including prior hours
- Optional FIT recording of the flight, UTC or local times, five languages, a glance with the next expiry

WHAT IT NEEDS
- A watch with GPS; no phone, no account, no internet
- Your aircraft, licence type and the dates you want to track

WAS ES BRAUCHT
