Athan | UAE is a minimalist prayer companion for Garmin watches, designed with users in the United Arab Emirates at its core.

The app provides quick access to daily Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times directly from your watch, together with a live next-prayer countdown, visual prayer timeline, full daily timetable, Qibla direction, Gregorian and Hijri dates, GPS-based location detection and Garmin Glance support.

Athan is intentionally simple, clean and distraction-free, with an interface designed for fast reading on the wrist.

UAE-FOCUSED PRAYER TIMES

Within the United Arab Emirates, Athan uses its configured UAE-focused prayer-time calculation logic.

When travelling outside the UAE, Athan may use location-based prayer-time information for the detected location. Prayer calculation methods, official adjustments and accepted timings can vary between countries, cities, mosques and Islamic authorities.

IMPORTANT PRAYER-TIME NOTICE

Athan | UAE is provided as a convenient informational tool. It is not an official religious, governmental or authoritative prayer-time source.

Prayer times displayed by Athan may differ from times published by local mosques, Islamic authorities, government bodies or other prayer-time services.

Differences may occur because of calculation methodology, geographic coordinates, GPS accuracy, elevation, time-zone information, daylight conditions, high-latitude rules, local religious conventions, manual authority adjustments, third-party data, network availability, device behaviour, software errors or other technical factors.

Users are responsible for verifying prayer times against a trusted local mosque, official Islamic authority or other prayer-time source they personally rely upon whenever precise timing is important.

Athan should not be relied upon as the sole source for determining the precise beginning or ending of a religious obligation or observance, including Fajr, Maghrib, fasting times or any other time-sensitive religious matter.

QIBLA NOTICE

Qibla direction depends on the Garmin device's location, compass and sensors. Compass calibration, magnetic interference, nearby electronic or metallic objects, GPS accuracy and device orientation may affect the displayed direction. Users should verify the Qibla using another trusted method whenever precision is important.

HIJRI DATE NOTICE

Hijri dates can differ between countries and Islamic authorities because some jurisdictions use astronomical calculation while others use official or local moon-sighting declarations. Important Islamic dates should be verified with a trusted local authority.

ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT

Athan is still being tested, refined and improved. Although significant effort is made to test the application, issues may still occur on particular devices, locations or conditions.

Athan will continue to receive improvements and additional features. Future releases may include further prayer-time refinements, more configuration options, usability improvements, support for additional Garmin devices and features based on user feedback.
