Sorry your having a problem, but why the negative review? Based on your statement, try restarting your watch twice and the installing application (Connect or Express). Use the Contact Developer Link if you need more help.

I cannot find where I need to input the unlock code (which I've paid for) so that the app will work for more than seven minutes. The video instructions refer to an older UI that is no longer what appears on the Garmin Connect. Please help!

I only gave 3 stars because of the other reviews. I have the vivoactve but is it correct that it will not register the activities or calories burned on my watch?

Thanks for the review Michelle. The Garmin calorie calculation is based on Heart Rate. Using the watch without a heart rate, the calorie value will be zero. Either, 1.) Use a chest HRM-RUN .... or 2.) Use a watch that has optical heart rate. Hope that Helps.

I can't match elliptical and app distances.. I'm running on a FR235 and a kettler rivo p, from the FR235 you can't set stride lenght lower than 0,25km.. If I try to set a lower stride lenght from app (after lot of conversion km/mi), the FR235 ignore it.
Any chance to get it matched!?

sorry your having a problem, at the moment the elliptical app as a lower limit of 0.7 stride length, I can make a change to allow lower values in the next update. A stride length of 0.25 seems a bit low, If your using watch only, be sure to use the loose grip method, described here.

Btw, I got your email 45 minutes prior to this review and I answered both within an hour. I was in the middle of my 45 minute tempo run or I would of answered sooner, but less than a hour to reply is ok.

Great value. My only regret is that it doesn't seem possible to see training effect on my Fenix 5. It's the most important metric for me when using my elliptical - I aim for a target training effect rather than a time or distance.

I have recently purchased this app and having some problems with the calorie count and heart rate reading. I have also purchased the Training App and having the same issues. There is a major difference between these and other devices that i have used.
Could you kindly give some assistance on this? Obviously bought the Garmin Fenix 5X to try avoid using the chest strap. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the review Scott. The Garmin calorie calculation is based on HeartRate, so using the Watch Optical causes problems when wrist movement occurs: there are only three options: 1.) wear your watch tighter, 2.) use a chest HRM or don't move your wrist.
The optical heart rate problems are well documented and discussed in the Garmin Forums (forums.garmin.com)

All these apps by fbbbrown are excellent. They are well made and fill in some of the "missing" apps on my Fenix 3 that were on my Vivoactive 3. The developer responds promptly with any problems or requests. This is a first class app and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
