Excellent customer service. Thanks, Brian. Elliptical app gives good information. But the distance from the app and what i get at the gym is about a mile in difference.

Thank you for reviewing. This apps does need to be calibrated to match your elliptical machine. The best way to calibrate is to A.) workout for 5 minutes, B.) then adjust Stride Length value until the watch distance matches the elliptical distance. The Elliptical app will post the recorded distance to the CIQ data section. Due to a Garmin NonGPS distance Policy, at this time CIQ apps cannot write to the Main Distance that is displayed at the Connect Summary.

I removed my previous review which did not give this application five stars due to it not recording the distance in the Garmin app. But apparently that is a policy enforcement by Garmin and not the fault of this application. If you go and look at F3B's blog post, it talks all about how you can politely request having this functionality added to the application or allowed to the application. I used this for the first time last night. It recorded with pretty great accuracy. My distance my heart rates my calorie consumption's. It worked fine with my Ant sensor on my Sole E35 elliptical. So my heart rate also showed up on my elliptical which is what I really bought the Garmin watch for. I would highly recommend this application. It worked much better than the stock elliptical application that came with my Garmin watch.

I've been using it for several years. Consistently the best for my elliptical.

I just upgraded from a FR245 to a Fenix 7. I am very happy with the Eliptical workout stats. Distance and speed is dead on. I use a HMpro chest strap and all the stats from that is amazing. The 245 worked with this app, but the Fenix 7 works great with this app. Great job f3b!

Trial ran out before first exercise was complete. Shameful. Garmin needs to develop one that goes with their watches. Will not be purchasing. Do not install

Peccato solo, che l'applicazione, con il mio Forerunner 245, non rileva i battiti cardiaci...

I had a great deal of trouble purchasing this app through Google pay. I had tried the trial version and liked its features. When I was successful at completing the purchase through Google pay I was charged the incorrect amount. I emailed the developer and within 30 minutes everything was corrected and this happened on a Friday evening. He clearly cares about service and I do not hesitate to recommend this particular product.

Habe die App einige Zeit nicht benutzt. Jetzt ist mir Aufgefallen dass ich die Distanz nicht mehr manuell eintragen kann. Geschwindigkeit ist vorhanden aber Distanz fehlt

The product worked really well up to about a year ago on my VA3 music. Then the heart rate tracking has become extremely inconsistent by up to 30bpm higher and lower during an activity (comparing to a chest HR monitor). When using the standard Garmin activity for Eliptical the HR varies by 1 or 2 bpm compared to the chest HRM. Is there perhaps a setting that can rectify this?

Little disappointed. How can I delete some charts? Most of them has empty data in Garmin Connect.

I'm a BIG fan of all of the "fbbbrown" apps (especially Training+, the only crossfit app worth a darn, IMHO). I'd almost prefer to delete all native Garmin apps and replace them with the full suite. That said, the ellipse app's stride length only being only measured in meters (or factions thereof) leaves me wanting here. Typically, I'm really only concerned with a good reading of my heart rate, calories burned, and training score, and on an ellipse machine, "distance" is kind of a joke anyway, nevertheless, but here I am still wishing I had that particular data point in a relatable unit of measurement all the same.
