Free to use; extras unlock with a one-time purchase.

An instrument panel on your wrist, in the spirit of the 1980s analog-digital watches: two analog dials on top, LCD windows below. Read the time from the hands, a second time zone from the second dial, and the date and temperature from LCD digits. Made for the Instinct 2, 2S, 2X, 3 Solar and E (40/45 mm) and the Descent G1, where the second dial sits in the round window, and also on round fenix, Enduro, tactix, quatix, Forerunner, MARQ, Descent Mk2 and vivoactive watches with a memory-in-pixel screen.

- Main dial: hour and minute hands over twelve bar markers.
- Second dial: a second time zone (UTC by default; any offset from UTC-12 to UTC+14), or a gauge.
- Gauge: a needle over a half dial with its value, the watch battery by default.
- LCD windows: the day and date, and the temperature from Garmin weather. Without recent weather the watch's own sensor is shown, marked SNS (on the wrist it reads warmer than the air).
- Status segments: BT (phone connected), MSG (unread notifications) and ALM (an alarm set) light up when on.

Customize it in the Connect IQ app. The second time zone's offset and the colours (white on black, or black on white) are free to set. The second dial as a gauge and the left gauge's value (marked with a star in the settings) can be changed during a 7-day trial, and stay unlocked for good with a one-time purchase ($3.99) at murmurgram.gumroad.com/l/dashdial: enter the 12-character Watch face ID from the settings at checkout, and type the key you receive by email into Unlock key. After the trial the second dial shows the second time zone and the gauge the battery until unlocked. Gauges can show the watch battery, Body Battery, stress, heart rate, steps toward your daily goal or Intensity Minutes toward your weekly goal.

The second time zone is a fixed offset and does not follow daylight saving time. Body Battery and stress are not recorded by every watch; there the gauge rests and shows --.

Privacy: everything is computed on the watch. Nothing is sent anywhere. If you buy the unlock, Gumroad handles the payment and your email address is used only to send your key and for support. Permissions are used for sensor history (temperature, Body Battery, stress, heart rate) and user profile.

Dashdial
