Per ASH guidelines*, patients should avoid intense exercise within 30 minutes before their blood pressure measurement and rest for 5 minutes before taking a reading.

With the Garmin BP Rest Check Widget, users can judge if they are in a sufficient rest condition from the heart rate history feature on their Garmin smartwatch.

Does exactly what it is made for. Obviously others don't understand. Ridiculous! The World is full of stupid people giving one star reviews.

If I listen to it, my BP is normal. If it tells me to wait and I don't my BP is typically higher. Seems to work well with my Fenix 6s. As someone with a white coat/auto bp monitor fear this has been super helpful.

Trash developer with a trash and fake app! It definitely doesn’t work and should be reported and banned from the app store!

Super difficult to use. I made it work once and never again. Avoid this app

Useless for my purposes: widget won't function at all without running a "rest" countdown of thirty minutes. I'm suffering from PIH and need to check my BP often, so I do it opportunistically (when I realize I've already been resting for long enough to do so). I am bad at self-awareness, though - was hoping to use this to help me double check the favorability of my overall posture and resting state before taking a BP measurement.
