NEXA Clean FREE is a data-rich digital watch face built for round 454 x 454 AMOLED watches such as the Epix Pro (Gen 2) 51 mm family. It requires Connect IQ API 5.2.0 or newer. See the device list on this page for the supported models.

LAYOUT

- Large clock in the middle: 130 px digits, a seconds display, and both 12-hour mode with an AM/PM marker and 24-hour mode. The 12/24-hour choice comes from the watch settings.
- Header row above the clock: the date in seven formats that you choose in the settings, for example TUE 23, 23 TUE, 23.09.26, 23-09-26, 23.09, 09/23/26 and TUE 23 SEP. Weekday and month names come from the watch language.
- Three top data rows, each with sixteen choices: calories, steps, battery, distance, heart rate, altitude, weekly walking distance, weekly cycling distance, floors climbed, weather, weekly running distance, body energy, sunrise, sunset, the sunrise/sunset pair, and None for an empty row.
- Three lower fields, each with sixteen choices: battery as a progress arc, heart rate, weather with a gradient background and a min/max range, weekly running distance, altitude, weekly walking distance, weekly cycling distance, floors climbed, steps as a progress arc, body energy as a progress arc, sunrise, sunset, VO2 max, active time per day, recovery time, and active time per week.
- Notification indicator above the middle lower field: a message icon appears when the watch has phone notifications waiting. The field can also be set to None.
- Sunrise and sunset show the change against the previous day in minutes; -5 means five minutes earlier.

ALWAYS-ON SCREEN

Two always-on modes are available. AOD (the default) is a frugal mode: an outlined clock, the header and one value. AOD v2 draws the full data layout in a palette that is 10 percent dimmer, and it stays an option for the user.

UNITS AND SETTINGS

Metric and imperial units, and temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, follow the watch settings. Every option is selected in the Garmin Connect app; the watch face needs no separate phone app.

PRIVACY

The watch face does not collect or send any data. Everything runs on the watch, and the only things stored locally are two numbers used for the sunrise and sunset change.

This first version is free.
