Does not work with g7. Dotted graph sometimes, but no current reading. It says no data instead of a number. And many people reported it a year ago. Why is it so difficult to fix it?

There is a delay in the results.
So I always have to pull my pump out to get the results now.

The app simply doesn’t work. It’s embarrassing and should frankly be removed from the public. The garmin-dexcom marketing page is at best false advertising.

It does not work with Dexcom G7.
Shows a No Data message with a dotted graph.

If you have one of the hundreds of Android phones that Dexcom refuses to include on their list of compatible phones (such no name brands as LG and Motorola) then this app won't work on the watch either.

Works well, fairly basic app. I would love to be able to add it to my watch face data fields that link to their glances. Also when my blood sugar is around 100 it blends in with the white graph lines, I would love to see the dots be colored based on number (green for in range, red for below, yellow for above). It would look really pro with a gradient and would be easier to read.

Works great. Current value right in the widget just and the last 3 hours charted of you go into it.
Just remember to send yourself an invite through Dexcom follow and accept it. I couldn't get the value to show up in the widget until I did that.
Very cool for a quick glance.
Tested device: Tactic Delta with Samsung phone.

If I keep Garmin connect app open it stays connected!! A bit annoying but it is the only way to not lose connection almost immediately

Love to see this work!!! 6x + G7. No Data showing after days of installing. Like others, reinstall no difference.

Worked well for 2 years with Dexcom G6, switched to G7 recently and lost all function of the widget.

Works well so far. Love that I can just swipe up and see my glucose.

I have used this widget for nearly a year. It has dropped connection at times, but generally does a reasonable job. It lets me leave my phone on my desk and move about the office and still know my glucose. The range is great. It is usually 5 minutes behind the reading on my phone. For the past 2 days it has lost all function. Uninstall/reinstall does nothing. 2 stars is based on 4-star function until now, then no stars.

I do not recommend on Garmin. I can see the 3 hour trend, but not the actual number. And for the life of me can not figure out hoe to make it the watch face and not just a widget. Literally going to return this watch because of this.

When I originally installed this widget it would only show me the graph and not the actual numbers. After a day it started working. It's a great way to quickly view your numbers by just hitting one button on my Fenix 6X. I moved it to the top my list of widgets to make it easily accessible.

Very disappointed, will not work with garmin venue 2.
Have been working with garmin support for over a week now with no results.

Disappointed beyond belief. I bought the vivoactive 4s strictly because I need to see my blood sugar on my wrist. I am a dental assistant and I am always wearing gloves to take xrays and a zillion other things. I don't touch my cellphone with dirty gloves on period. I had it working with my previous phone Samsung note 9 but I just purchased a s23 and all I get is login error! I am pissed beyond belief!

Hard for me to understand all the negative comments. I bought a Vivoactive 4 watch over a year ago and the Dexcom Widget is working just fine for me and my Samsung S22 smartphone (android).
Yes, the watch needs to be within BT range of the phone. Yes, the phone needs to have the Garmin Connect app running, even in the background, to send the data to the watch, and Yes, the phone needs to be in cell service range for the watch to display current Dexcom reading and history. That's nearly 100% of the time for me. If you're cycling in the middle of the Mojave dessert, or spend your days in the NY subway where there is no cell service for your phone - or keep the phone in battery saver mode so it shuts down apps, or leave your phone at home, then Duh, this won't work for you. This solution doesn't get the Dexcom data directly from your G6 sensor or pump via BT. It gets it from the Dexcom web (via cell connection) under your account there.

Life Changing. I have been using this widget and monitoring my BG on my Epix 2 for about 3 months and have had no issues.

Very disappointing. I tried this with the Dexcom 6 and it is pretty much useless. Readings are sent to your phone and the to the watch.

I wish that there is Zero rating

The app is working almost as desired. It’s got a glaring flaw, and may be enough to warrant returning the watch. I understand the Garmin has to use the phone because that’s how it’s connected to the Dexcom. I get it - what I don’t understand is why INTERNET DATA is being used to run the app. If my phone is out of network service, that shouldn’t impact Bluetooth transmission. If I’m in the subway, my Dexcom app on the phone still works - it just doesn’t work on the Garmin watch. For a good portion of my day, the $350 watch is useless. This should be fixed or I may have to return it.

Doesn't work. Followed all steps. How is it supposed to even pair? All you do is download a widget and sign in. You don't even have to have your pump connected to your phone, which makes no sense.
Needs clear, eli5 instructions FOR THE ENTIRE PROCESS. Do I need to have some app from dexcom installed? Does the pump need to be connected to my phone Bluetooth? Does the pump need to pair with watch Bluetooth? The official instructions don't work and offer no explanation or troubleshooting. This has been out for a year now? Wtf?
