TruFlite is an exterior ballistics program for long range shooting. It contains a highly accurate, yet stand alone ballistics engine that is extremely fast. Designed to not rely on connecting with a phone for data input or for calculations.

Free Version: TruFlite is still free. The basic (free) version includes all the features that previous versions of TruFlite had. Loved the app when I had my Fenix 5x. Any chance you can make it compatible for the Forerunner 955??? Thanks

Bought this to save using my phone out in the field. I contacted Jeff with a data issue. He has been great at sorting it out and really quick too. The only upgrade I would say would that be easier for me - have the wind angle open a screen with an arrow so you can drag it to direction rather than a number input. Overall it's great to have a drop chart for all my rifles on my epix. Better than a phone in the rain.

The app is awesome as long as you know how to true your data. Gave it 4 stars due to the limit if only 3 ballistic profiles.

A really cool app, however, would be nice if but could see wind in meters per. second and the shot length in meters

It can. All values can be set to either english or metric units. On the device go to the main menu, then select "Units". You can set distance to yards or meters and you can set wind speed to mph, kph, or mps. If using the Connect IQ Settings App on your phone scroll to the bottom to the "UNITS" section.

Love the app, very intuitive. Only improvement would be to allow more profiles. Between 5 and 10 would be perfect.

Great app. It should be great if we could have MRAD as other units like with MOA. Some rifles are using MRAD and not only MOA. PRO version is interresting but too expansive.

I have just recently gotten into long range shooting and this app covers everything I need. The other guys on my team are all talking about getting a garmin now because of the easy results and accuracy while in the field. Amazing app and I would definitely recommend!

Accurate to within 1/10 MRAD for a 308 Win at 825 yards. Great product! Get this app and consider upgrading to pro to support this developer. It is just as accurate as AB for $1000 less (compared to buying the Tactix Delta AB) if you enter your data correctly. If it gives you a solution that isn’t accurate, double check your parameter settings. Garbage in = garbage out.

Absolutely rocks! Send to give me the same door as AB. Love the fact I can turn off the aero jump and spin drift. Makes it easy to come up with a pure solution.

App is quick to setup, easy to use. Would pay for more detailed settings to take into account spindrift etc and maybe the option for 2-3 different loads. Only other setting I would like is zero offset.

Where do I input the bullet weight?
Developer Reply

Bullet weight (and other bullet characteristics) is not needed to calculate a trajectory. The BC of the bullet is all you need. Other bullet characteristics (like bullet weight) are needed to calculate things like stability, spin drift, aero jump, energy, momentum, which TruFlite currently doesn't do. Tried to keep it as simple as possible with as few inputs required since it is a watch interface.

Any chance to see metric units and mils any time soon? Not useful to me without it.

On the watch/device you can select mils or cm for elevation and windage and each variable can be put into metric or english units independently. If you go to the menu and select Units you can change english/metric for each individual variable; range/zero, wind speed, altitude, pressure, temperature, muzzle velocity and sight height.
