Using on a FR945 and a great tool. I've set it to 31, which is half my ideal stroke/min of 62. I've also noticed quite a few missed beats, but enough beats are "broadcast" to get the pace dialled in. Agree with Ale S - would be good if it only broadcast the beat if the data field was showing on the current screen, making it easy to turn off during a swim session. Many thanks AdamL

Thanks for the positive comments Phil.
I'll have a look at adding an option to only beep if the screen is on. I would probably add that as a configuration option if it was available though. I'll have to look and see if data fields are aware that they're in view or not.

A) It should beep always on the first quarter: X _ _ _ , X _ _ _ and so on. In this way, setting 45 bpm (instead of 180) you would receive beep every 4 steps. B) Beep only if data field is showed.

Could you send me a message and let me know a bit more on how you'd like 'A' to behave, I can't quite follow what you're looking for.
I think I have found a way to implement B).

Probably great for many uses, but I was hoping to find a running cadence training data field and this is not it, given that Connect limit of 60 bpm. Most runners are looking for something like 180.

Such a simple tool yet so useful. Thank you Adam for pushing a version for the 6 series.

Great idea, and I love that it's a field instead of app, but it misses beats regularly

Thanks for the review and the feedback.
I'll see if I can improve the beat skipping, but I have a feeling it could be a limitation of the ConnectIQ SDK

It doesn't keep vibrating, it misses beats and I'm not sure how to get 180bpm. Am I using it wrong? Also a vibrate only function would probably be beneficial.

Unfortunately with the older versions of the ConnectIQ SDK (and possibly even the newer ones, I need to check!) there is no way of refreshing at more than 60bpm/once a second/1Hz so 180 bpm is likely out of the question.

Great app. Thank you. Just what I was looking for. Works great when tested with my 935 in pool mode on dry land. Can't wait to dry it in the water. Is there a way to disable it from the watch though?
