Like other people, I have the problem: Please connect your phone and open the Gartmin Mobile App. I have deleted all workouts and activities. I have plenty of space available on my 735XT. I have rebooted watch and cell phone multiple times. Still no luck.

The App works great with Garmin Edge 520. Synchronization is fast and smooth. All previous workouts must be erased to make it work..

Hi, I can't use the IQ app on my Garmin Edge 520. I've checked the free space on my computer and it's ok but unfortunately I csee just the TraingPeaks logo on the screen and nothing has happened.

I’m having a similar problem to most of the 735XT owners on here. When I load the app on the watch it says ‘Please connect your phone and open the Connect Mobile App’. I’ve done all the usual things to try and resolve but it’s not playing ball. Overall a very poorly tested piece of software.

Workouts don't load anymore after update to v1. 6. After Workouts screen and Downloading screen, it switches back to the turquoise training peaks intro screen

If it looks like the workouts are downloading but then all you see is the screen with the TrainingPeaks logo, then you have to many workouts stored on the device. We are working with Garmin to see how this experience can be improved. To fix this, plug your device into a computer and then delete the files located in the /Garmin/Workouts folder.

The synchronization with the trainings planned in TrainingPeaks works perfectly. The problem is that I can not see the power of stryd and also the power of Garmin at the top of the screen during the training in fenix 5s practicing runnig. For this reason I do not give more score to the application, which I hope will improve in future updates.

Absolutely no problems what so ever with this app. I use it with my fenix 5 and it works a dream. Can't figure out why the overall rating is around 3 stars! Can't recommend this enough.

Once the app is authorized whenever I open it to see a list of that day's workouts from TrainingPeaks, it just shows a running man in the Garmin Connect App and does not sync workouts to my 935 device

The app requires that the workout was created using the TrainingPeaks Workout Builder. The interval information is what the device uses to guide you through the workout. Please help. i have fenix 5 and have been using TP for about 4-5 months. coach sends workout i open it and thats it, was working perfectly. this week sommething went wrong i cant opet any workout on my watch. i enter TP on my watch, it says workouts, downloading and then returns to home screen of TP. and thats it, i tried to delete reinstall TP also from watch and connect garmin app, but it simply wont work.... any ideas ?

The tactix® Bravo does not support the 2.x version of the Connect IQ platform that is required for our app to run, so we are not able to support that device.

Runners be aware. Great idea but poor execution for runners. As a user of Trainingpeaks I was happy to use the app with my 935 to run planned workouts. Problem is that, no matter what target pace you have in TP, the watch will display either: - target pace +/- 10% - mid point of the target pace range +/- 10% While it might be ok for biking with power intervals, for running this doesn't make any sense. A 8 min/mile target pace becomes a 7:12 - 8:48 min/mile range !!!! I guess the problem arises with Garmin alerting when you fall outside the range so they want to avoid having a single target pace or a narrow range... however this is too wide. Since this app is native on some Garmin watches, the two teams should work together to figure this out

We recently updated the workout builder so that the exact intensity range can be specified. This will require updates to the existing workouts, and we expect that coaches and training plan authors will make these changes in the near future. At this time, training plans purchased from TrainingPeaks are not displayed on the calendar in Garmin Connect. Instead you can apply the training plan to your TrainingPeaks calendar, and then use the TrainingPeaks Daily Workout CIQ app to get your workouts on to your Garmin device. I've started to have some issues with TP. every single session since 5 days ago crash after 20 or 30 minutes or even a lap in the work out developed. It's just happen with the TP's WO - Device Garmin edge 820 v8.80

Used to work but it's now hopeless, I get TP sessions sent daily by my coach which quickly fills up the memory. I never connect my 935 to a computer and don't own one and my work one won't let connect devices. Why can't it just overwrite, I don't need yesterdays workout just today's.

Unfortunately CIQ apps are not allowed to delete files on the device. This is something we are working with Garmin to enable. So for now the older workout files need to be manually deleted. This can be from any desktop or laptop computer. When plugged into a computer the Garmin device will appear as a external USB drive. To remove the older workouts you will want to delete all the .FIT files in the /Garmin/Workouts folder. We hope to have a better solution in the future.

This worked great for the first few months I had my garmin 935 and but it hasn't worked in months. I have removed and reinstalled the app, updated it... no luck! I have looked at the troubleshooting FAQ's and I suppose I could have too many workouts on the watch but the FAQ doesn't really explain how to do it.

OK, update to previous review....had to clear workouts previously downloaded to watch, using too much space! The app works great now!! Love being able to build my workouts and have them show on my 935!!
