Check the time in UNIX/LINUX/Epoch/POSIX time (number of seconds since midnight, Jan 1st, 1970). Or, if you choose, show the time in GPS time. Geek cred +150.</p><p></p><p>Of course since no one can decode that at a glance, it also has the date and time above, and a full complement of status icons below: Steps (if you have activity tracking on), number of notifications, bluetooth connection status, and battery level (red when low battery).</p>

Sorry, this is actually the design of the Garmin Connect IQ watch face platform that I can't get around. When the watch senses that you're looking at it (with a wrist gesture or when you touch screen/tap button), then it updates every second for 10 seconds. Otherwise to save battery it only updates once per minute. Some newer watches can update every second, but the watch face has to be written in a newer version of the SDK.

Lol yes GPS time, it's funny because at work we were talking about GPS time when I noticed your watch face and was like "small world". Thanks for throwing that option in there makes my day!
