There are 4 other gradient data fields available in the Conneqt IQ store. All have a font size exactly according to the setting of the device. Only this data field has a different font (too narrow) and the font size is too small. I can't find a plausible reason for this. It looks really unattractive.

Would be nice if the gradient data chart colour could be customisable, The dark blue does not stand out enough in Garmin Connect for android phone because the background colour is black on the GC app.

When my Edge 1000 broke down I replaced it with the super-budget Explorer which is perfect in every respect except the pre-installed gradient app is totally out of whack. (I mean 45% is typical!). So I installed Chris' hGrade which works perfectly. Easy to install and to read. I can't recommend highly enough.

A fantastic addition to my Garmin. Find this really useful but the text is very small. If I could have it larger by losing percentage and other symbols then I would be made up!

Great addition to my Edge 530 to compensate for Garmin not thinking a decimal place is significant. This app was simple to download, install and configure. Chris, the developer, is super responsive, and over a weekend, implemented a suggestion I had. I'm very happy with the app and its support.

My new edge 830 has too small of a font for me to read compared to the 810 it replaced. Having one data field is not practical for me even with auto scrolling enabled!

Awesome developer! Was very responsive to a specific feature request for trail running use. Some of the grade fields could use a little cleanup aesthetically, but the functionality is great. Highly recommended!

UPDATE: This developer, Chris, is awesome. You send an email request and he not only answers the email but sends you an email when the request has been completed! I asked for separate options to hide "%" and "-" Done! Thank you!

UPDATE: Developer quickly accepted a request for option of leaving off minus symbol as well as percentage symbol to make font significantly larger. Excellent app!

Love the new font size! I didn't mind the smaller font size going downhill as the assent grade is more important to me. I hate to ask but can I have the minus sign back - can you make "hide the minus sign and percentage sign" two separate options?

UPDATE. 4.5 stars. Developer responded immediately to my concern about app's small font on my Vivoactive HR (which is mainly an issue with Garmin), and put in the option of removing '%' to make font much larger and very readable on ascents. However, on descents minus sign makes font small. But it's still all the better of an app. Seems accurate.

Good app, but small font is very difficult to read on my vivoactive hr while on bike rides. 5 stars if font could be enlarged.
