Works OK but needs work. The initial Glance view does not automatically update and shows old invalid data. A further button press is required to get the current rain data. On the Instinct display there are no hour markers to help to understand the 24 hour forecast. Also really needs a 2 and 4 hour window.

Super Support! Ich kann verstehen, dass mancher sich über die zusätzliche Bezahlung der Alarme ärgert. Allerdings kosten leider die dafür notwendigen api's teilweise viel Geld. Sehr gut finde ich, dass man nicht nur ein Abbo abschließen, sondern auch eine Lifetime Option hat.

I love the functionality of this app so much, I bought the lifetime subscription without any hesitation. I appreciate the work y'all do, I understand about the costs associated with running this service and I hope y'all are able to keep it afloat for a long time to come. Bought the full version only a few weeks ago and all was working wonderfully with the rain alert feature, which was the main reason to my purchase to having that rain alert. Only to discover that the vendor has now removed the full version that doesn't give the rain alert, with just the basic features available! The reason is down to costs apparently, so those who have bought the full version are now pushed down the the basic version with no rain alert! I'm very disappointed as now they're asking for a subscription fee, and quite frankly you could download a free app to your phone and add notifications which in my opinion works better and it's free.

I have yet to find a single occasion where this app predicts rain accurately. I’ve used it quite extensively in The Netherlands and a dozen other European countries but it’s been a waste of money so far.

Hi Tom! Thank you for your review and feedback! That's super odd, I would expect the Netherlands to be super accurate with Buienradar as data source. I'm using it myself in Belgium and find it very accurate in here. It might depend from location to location ofcourse, but got a lot of positive feedback from other NL & BE users, as well as for other countries. But indeed, I also see some that don't find it accurate, so that's why I'm working on a way to provide other data sources as well as an option. Best regards, Wim

I’m saddened that I had to change the pricing model as I was losing money due to the Alerts (and Complications) feature in the app. My server costs + costs of the weather service I use were higher than my income from the full version with the $1.99 one-time purchase. So I had two options: remove these features again, or get some extra money from the users that want to keep these features to support my costs. I choose the last option, as I personally really like these features. I hope you understand this. You keep all features of the full version, but alerts & complications had to go in favour of subscriptions. As an existing user, you get a discount code for a 50% reduction the first year if you choose the yearly plan on top of the 1 month free trial with this promo code: R9AQM7. Or I can also create one for you for a nice discount on the lifetime plan if you want. I simply made a mistake by adding the alerts to the application without offering it with the subscription model. It is simply not possible due to the costs. I can’t just loose money on having this application online, I really do hope you do understand that. The only other option was removing this app from the store and stop the server running it, but that would also frustrate users. I purchased the full version of this widget. When I purchased this widget, the alerts were included. Now they want me to pay for the alerts. If you want to charge new customers for the alerts, that's fine. Old purchases should be grandfathered in. Also, if a subscription is now needed, it should say so in the description. I will probably delete this widget now.

Hi! By default the app uses your GPS location. If you want to change this, it is possible with the full version. Hi Oedger, thank you for your feedback! I tried to keep the pricing model with 3 levels (free, full & pro for the alerts) as clear as possible. The extra level for the alerts was needed as my costs were starting to get higher than the income from the one-time purchases alone. So it was this, or removing the alerts, which is also not a great idea. So I hope you understand the decision.
