Good, fully configurable. I used it for over 1 year. But now it's been a week since I have a problem and I can't configure it anymore. He returned to the original configuration, already uninstalled and installed and it was no use. I want to continue using it, how should I do it?

Sorry to hear, but the widget has not been updated since mid-May, so that cannot be the problem. Perhaps an update of the Garmin Connect app or the firmware? It may help to reset the watch (for most watches, keep the POWER button pressed for half a minute). If that does not help, contact me using the Contact Developer link, and provide more details (i.e. which device, what phone).

This is a widget, and it is not in the manual how to access a widget :-( See the description of this widget: On the Edge devices, widgets are accessible via the status bar by swiping down on the home screen. Swipe left or right once the status bar is visible to cycle through your installed widgets. If this does not solve the problem for you, please contact me using the Contact Developer button.

Great app. A "must have" in my opinion. Garmin should have created a build-in widget like this one. Thumbs up.

I like this idea. Would work well if it self initiated when ko movement it detected for a few mins etc (settable). Maybe even beep to draw attention...just a thought.

This is great. Would love to see it as a watch face standalone or with a companion watch face that tells someone how to access the widget.

One of the best and most useful widgets for the Garmin watch. Thank you.

Perfect! I hope that this widget will never be used on my vivoactive 3, but it gives me a safe feeling, when I'm running without my phone and just the watch.

Great, but recently not working - displaying info on my watch (f5s, latest firmware), just an IQ! picture on the screen. Reinstalled, info filled in and still nothing visible on my watch, IQ! only :-) Therefore currently useless.

Obviously, the app is tested before I release a new version, but I can impossibly test all cases on all devices. So if it is not working as expected, get in touch (See Contact Developer link or message to [email protected]) with details (device, info entered), then it can usually be fixed.

I`m having trouble editing data fields on my Garmin 735XT, After install, the apps works fine but once I edit data fields (name, labels, phone) the APP Crash, and all I can see is the IQ logo with an exclamation mark. Any ideia how to fix this? I`ve already tried to reinstall it too many times. Garmin Forerunner 725XT 9.40 and Emergency Info 1.4.3. Tried to edit fields with Garmin Express and Connect for iOS. Thanks!

Under App Info, there is a link to contact the developer. If the app has crashed (IQ logo with exclamation mark), there should be a file '/GARMIN/APPS/LOGS/CIQ_LOG.TXT' on the watch, please share that file, as well as more details, e.g. the information that you entered and possibly the phone type if it may be related to Connect Mobile.

Would be great if it could be permanently displayed. How will paramedic know to swipe to find it?

I fully agree, but this is what is possible as a custom widget. - A widget always returns to the watch screen after one or two minutes - Accessing a widget is different for different devices. It would indeed be more useful if there was a standard way to access such information, so paramedics would know how to find it, but that is something to be taken up by Garmin and other manufactureres, not possible for a custom widget.

I love this app, however formatting is off for fenix 5s plus and fenix 5 plus. I also have fenix 5x and it works great. Hopefully someone else experienced this and its not just me. Please fix and update asap!!

This is not so much a review, but a question. I'm looking for an app that automatically displays your contact information during a run if you stop for a certain preset period of time, or until you acknowledge an alert or something. That way, if you are hurt or injured during a run, the info will automatically be on your watch screen. Can this app do this?

No, this widget has to be activated manually. I doubt it is even possible for a Connect IQ app to run in the background, and show when you stop for a preset of time, probably Garmin has to build in some kind of trigger for this. You may post your suggestion in this forum, perhaps other developers have a good idea: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/developers/connect-iq/connect-iq-app-ideas

As a person with epilepsy I love this app. I can't give it 5 stars yet because it is a little restrictive. I found that a few of the fields cut off some of the important text areas where I wish they scrolled like the "other info" field. Maybe as a note to the developer add an option for the user to designate the field as a scrolling field. I understand for the app's sake that these must be limited so maybe give x amount to put in there so the overall field stays compact. Thank you for giving me that much more peace of mind when I go out though!!! I do wear my medical dogtag but now I have days where I feel comfy leaving it hanging on my bathroom mirror because that same info is right on my wrist.

Thanks for your feedback! I'd like to look into this case. The fields are designed to fit international telephone numbers, but for a specific use case or device, it may not fit. Can you share the info you use, and the device type? You can use the Contact Developer link on the App Info tab.

This is a very useful, simple app for holding & displaying emergency information (or any other short bits of info). It would get 5 stars if the way of entering the data on Garmin Express was simpler. Surely Heading 1 : Data 1, Heading 2 : Data 2 etc would be more intuitive than entering all the data fields and then rewording the headings?

The space on the screen is limited, but you could use any of the other fields (e.g., Date of Birth, Phone) for another Emergency contact. In the settings, you can not only change the information, but also the labels, so you can customise it as you want.
