It counts like 3 jumps more per actual jump you do. It would be cool if detected the times you trip the rope too.

Killing the battery on Garmin Venu 2 in a few hours after use. To avoid it, I need to restart the watch but it's not always remembered. Otherwise great app.

This app could be 4-stars (I also have the paid-for "Pro" version - same issue) if the GPS location was removed or allowed to be disabled. Jump metrics need to be front and center. Its recorded data and jump counts seem to be just *slightly* better than the new Garmin activity for Jump Rope, but not by much. I don't use this one any longer though because GPS of maps of me wandering in circles around the driveway or park or outskirts of the building I'm in became very frustrating. GPS is not a useful jump rope data field. These same notes apply as well to the Pro version.
