I have a huge problem with my quatix 7 and anchor app. I can 'drop the anchor' and set allowed drift distance. So far so good. But then starts the questions and confusing behavior. Biggest issue, after about 20 minutes it will say 'Power save' and count down 30 seconds. It the goes back to 'clock'. If I then navigate back to the activity it will still remember my placement, but it will search for GPS location again. So I assume it is 'off' when it is not showing on the watch face and I am losing the alarms. This was not how the app worked in my previous watch the fenix 5 plus

I'm using the anchor app on my Quatix6 watch and it's only giving me in feet not meters. I'm unable to find the option to change this setting.

Being a professional mariner on large vessels the limit of 100m is useless as our anchor chain is up to 400m in length. Should be able to have a limit of more than 100m

The function works pretty well. Over time I gain lot of trust of having the anchor alert on my wrist. The builtin systems on a various boats which are available for charters are of various quality and usability thus hard to trust if you rent the boat for several days only.

This application is simple but it's main function works well - the application tracks distance to anchor and notify if it is out of limit. To see time you need to hold "Down" button (low left button) during 1-2 seconds. You can stay in watch face mode, Anchor application will continue work and notify you if needed. I found that User guide gives incorrect explanation of "Bow Offset" parameter. It is not a distance between boat bow and GPS antenna. It is actually distance between water level and boat bow. I don't understand what is purpose of the anchor rode calculator? It just multiplies two integers - depth and scope ratio. It could be easily done by any schoolboy :) It looks like it doesn't affect anchor distance tracking

0 stars. It's hard to rate functionality, when there is none. - no wait. The anchor taking up 100% of the display looks nice.... Jesus Garmin???

Nevím jak u ostatních, ale v otevřené zátoce se loď pohla max v rozmezí 20m a hodinky hvízdaly i s nastaveným rádiusem 300m . Tak buď špatně aplikace nebo to GPS je špatně

Ne fonctionne bien que si le gps est allumé en permanence. Donc consolation de la batterie énorme. Si on met toute les 15min par exemple ou plus il éteint le gps et le redémarrage et prend la position avant d avoir la précision nécessaire d ou une alarme de dérive par exemple de 300m.

Funktioniert immer noch nicht. Kein akustische Alarm beim verlassen des Radius.Alarm wird nur beim Wiederbetreten kurz ausgelöst. Statt Bereichsalarm ist Ankunftsalarm Programmiert.Traurig nach 2 Jahren nicht behoben. Quatix 1 funktionierte von Anfang an.

Vibrationsalarm,akustischer Alarm wird beim Verlassen des Radius nicht ausgelöst , lediglich lautlose Displayanzeige.Alarm wird nur bei Wiederbetreten des Radius sofort ausgelöst.Also falsche Programmierung als Ankunftsalarm.

The whole Quatix 3 app plan is strange as no one seems inclined to write instructions and would rather the user struggling through it trying to grasp what the heck you had in mind Again the Anchor alarm completely takes over the watch and to even check the time requires leaving the app
