The ability to change the data fields is no longer working. I used to be able to have a two data field screen. Distance on top temperature on bottom. This is no longer possible. The screen is filled with too much data and it's too small and you can't read it!

Great app for the venu 2 plus. Which doesn't have open water swimming as an option. Just need to figure out how to change from Yards to Metres . Great app. Love it

Die Swimming App Professional liefert sehr genaue Daten. Ich habe mehrere Apps von verschiedenen Anbietern getestet und diese App hat die besten Auswertungen geliefert. Auch ist durch das Design die Schrift unter Wasser auf der Garmin Venu 2 mit Schwimmbrille gut lesbar. Beim Starten wird automatisch der Screen gesperrt, so dass man nicht durch versehentliches Berühren Daten verstellt. Ich kann die App absolut empfehlen.

I like that the data seems to be accurately shown. However when starting the app on the Garmin Watch I find it unclear how to use the app. It could be more intuitive.

Really great app, easy to use and gives all the necessary information you could want. GPS map line seems very jagged and not overly accurate. I also find the distance measurement is not very accurate either. If these 2 issues could be improved it would make it one of the best apps I have seen.

I used in Antigua 2 days ago, and it calculated I'd swum 101 metres. When striding the distance, I'd swum circa 600 metres. The Mao showing where I'd swum was jagged and showing I'd gone into the beach. It felt like the GPS was not granular enough to pin point me.

The app works well. However the GPS smoothing algorithm needs work as the track is very jagged adding an extra 30% to the distance in my case. If you could mimic the gps smoothing that the Garmin Open Water Swim app this app would be unbelievably good

The swimming tracking is jagged, not smooth as is. The distance is get about 20% longer from the real.

Easy installation and integration to Garmin Connect. Plenty of configuration options for data on the watchface. Would be great if this displayed in app on the phone or Garmin Connect for later review. GPS very accurate.

First use worked well. Gps seems quite accurate. Glad my forerunner 245 now has an open water swimming option :) It took a little longer than normal to sync the activity with my phone.

Really great application and data fields!! Enjoyed my first use! (And will keep using!) The only issue I seem to have had was upon saving - the activity showed in my history, but the data was not there. I’m sure it’s just a matter of user error - I have read the FAQs and I will be checking out the settings! Great app, I’m really happy to have found a good swimming app for my forerunner 235!

first use, no problems. am querying the total energy used and how this is calculated. assume via current user settings. glitched after the activity ended in that the summary screen was frozen, but became unstuck after about 10 mins. will try out in a pool swim next

Nice app. But in Vivoactive 4 some issues with saving workout. In watch setting everything is set on meters. When i save swimming workout, then workout summary i see swimming length yards, not meters.

Very happy to find an app to use for open water swimming. I just can't figure out where to change it from yards to meters. The results show in yards. I also found that once saving the session the distance changed from what I saw when I 1st completed the session.

I have had a few issues with the application not being accurate in terms of distance. Sometimes it just stops. I like the format and its the best swimming application I have found and hope that it keeps improving

Great app to add OWS to the Venu line. The all white background is dangerous to AMOLED screen burn in, but can be inverted in the settings. Maybe it should default to black background on install?
