Vous pouvez choisir 7 niveaux d’actualisation de la VO2: de 1 à 6 minutes ou, en temps réel.

La VO2 max calculée pour chaque temps de rafraichissement et la dépense énergétique sont enregistrées chaque seconde dans le fichier FIT, ainsi que la VO2 max pour la séance et la VO2 max lissée à la fin de la séance (si l'option est cochée dans les paramètres de l'application). Ainsi, vous pourrez visualiser le graphique VO2 correspondant dans votre profil Garmin Connect.

La VO2 max lissée est sauvegardée dans les settings de l’application pour être récupérée lors de la sortie suivante, et restera affichée pendant les 20 premières minutes avant d’être actualisée par la nouvelle.

Fonctionnement:
- un premier niveau de x mn durant lequel la VO2 max est calibrée pour sa fiabilité. La valeur est de couleur rouge pendant les 4/5ème du temps de la calibration puis, passe à bleu pour le dernier 1/5, et devient blanche ou noire lorsque la VO2 max est considérée comme fiable.

La dérive cardiaque correspond à un écart à la hausse important de la FC à vitesse / allure égale. Dans ce DF, la dérive cardiaque commence à être vérifiée et calculée après 10 minutes de course, la dérive est affichée à côté de la FC et ces 2 valeurs passent alors en rouge tant qu’il y a dérive.

Ce datafield permet enfin d’effectuer le test de Cooper, option à choisir dans les settings de l’application: vous choisissez la durée du test (6, 8, 10 or 12 minutes) et, pendant votre course, vous verrez alors apparaître 1 point coloré + estimateur de distance indiquant que vous effectuez le test. Lorsque vous atteignez la fin du test, la montre se met à vibrer pour vous en indiquer la fin, mais vous pouvez cependant continuer à courir, la VO2 max sera toujours calculée même après la fin du test.

Installation:
c'est un datafield et non une application donc, il est nécessaire de l'intégrer dans une application sportive.
1- aller dans le menu des applications sportives, choisir ou créer une activité, choisir un écran de données
2- choisir l'application ConnectIQ JMGDTFRunningVO2S comme source de données

A datafield which calculates in real time your VO2 max during running courses (multiple fields layout).

You can choose between 7 levels of refresh time: from 1 to 6 minutes or, real time.

The VO2 max calculated for each refresh time and energy expenditure are saved each second in the FIT file, and VO2 max for the session and smoothed VO2 max at the end of the session (if option is checked in the app settings). So, you will be able to visualize the corresponding VO2 graph in your Garmin Connect profile.

The smoothed VO2 max is saved into the app settings for the next session, and will remain displayed for the first 20 minutes before being updated by the new one.

Operation:
- a first level of x min during which the VO2 max is calibrated for its reliability. The value is red in color for 4/5ths of the calibration time, then turns blue for the last 1/5, and becomes white or black when the VO2 max is considered reliable.

Cardiac drift corresponds to a large upward deviation of the HR at equal speed / pace. In this DF, the cardiac drift begins to be checked and calculated after 10 minutes of running, the drift is displayed next to the HR and these 2 values then go red as long as there is a drift.

There is also the possibility to run a Cooper test as an option to select in the app settings: you choose the test duration (6, 8, 10 or 12 minutes) and, while running the test, you will find a dot + distance estimator indicating that you run it. When you reached the end of the test time, the watch vibes to inform you, but you can continue to run and the VO2 max will be always calculated after this time limit.

How to install:
This is a data field not an application and needs to be added to a single data screen within a sport activity.
1- go to settings, apps, sport activity, data screen, screen 1
2- set field 1 to ConnectIQ Fields, JMGDTFRunningVO2S
