# Features
* Estimates your VO2max
* Select between a graded or fixed distance test method (The fixed distance test method is a maximum effort test, while the graded test method is submaximal)
* Display the incline setting in % or degrees

# Instructions for the Fixed Distance Method
1. Add the data field to your elliptical activity.
2. Set the elliptical to 1% (or as close as possible to 0.57 degree) incline, and zero resistance. 
3. Warm up with light pedaling for 10 minutes. At the end of the warm up, your heart rate should be near or in zone 3 and your cadence should be at least 60 strides per minute, and preferably about 100 strides per minute.
4. Reset the distance counter on the elliptical and start the activity on your watch.
5. Pedal with your maximum effort and hold onto the movable handlebars, but only use them to maintain balance. When you complete 1.5 miles (2.4 km), stop the activity on your watch and stop pedaling.
6. Switch back to the activity screen (left swipe on touchscreen devices) to see the measured VO2max.
7. After this, you can save the activity.

NOTES:
1) If your elliptical has a power display, it may be useful to note the maximum power reached during the test.  This information can be used to improve the accuracy of the app if you are willing to share this.  
2) Your max HR must be set in your watch settings for this test

# FULL Version Features
* VO2max results will be written to the FIT file for viewing with the activity in Garmin Connect (including heart rate at the end of the test)

In Garmin Connect, the value for Heart Rate Recovery will be shown with the activity summary.  For example, a Heart Rate Recovery value of 25bpm means that your heart rate dropped 25bpm after you stopped running. As your fitness improves over time, this value should increase. 
* Determines VO2max adjustment for altitude and saves this for viewing with the activity in Garmin Connect. For example, if the VO2max adjustment value is 5%, then the reported VO2max should be further multiplied by 1.05 to estimate your VO2max at sea level.
