Pulsedeck turns your gym's TV into a live heart-rate display for group fitness classes. Add the Pulsedeck data field to any activity and your heart rate appears on the big screen the moment class starts — your live BPM, your current heart-rate zone, and calories, right alongside everyone else in the room. No chest strap and no extra hardware: your Garmin does all the work.

HOW IT WORKS

Your gym gives you a one-time pairing code.
Open the Pulsedeck app settings in Garmin Connect and enter the code once.
Add "Pulsedeck" to a data screen, start your workout, and you're on the board.
The data field shows "PulseDeck is a go" while it's streaming, so you always know it's working. After the first setup you never need the code again — just start your activity and your name pops onto the TV whenever your gym is running a class.

REQUIREMENTS

Your gym must use Pulsedeck. Get your pairing code from them.
Your watch needs a phone connection during class (Bluetooth, with the Garmin Connect app and internet) so it can send your heart rate to the display.
PERMISSIONS

Communications / Internet: used to send your heart rate to your gym's live display.
User Profile: used to read your own configured heart-rate zones so your effort and color are shown correctly.
Nothing is stored on the watch beyond your gym pairing, and the app only sends data while you're in an activity.
