Control your DJI Osmo Action camera from your Garmin Edge activity screens.

OsmoTrack REC is a data field you add to any ride screen. It connects to your Osmo automatically and lets you:

• Record automatically, with two modes you choose in the app settings:
– Thresholds: film on climbs, above a set speed, over a heart-rate or power threshold, on each lap, or at regular intervals — every trigger configurable.
– Highlights (adaptive): captures the best moments of your ride — sprints, climbs and summits, hard efforts, technical sections — by learning what's normal for this ride. One sensitivity setting, no thresholds to tune. Ideal for an automatic best-of while sparing camera battery.

• Tap the field to start/stop recording — a manual tap always takes priority over automation.
• See the camera mode (Video, Photo, Timelapse…) and live recording state, with an on-screen timer and an AUTO badge.
• Embed your GPS track into the video while you ride.

Works on its own — it connects to your Osmo directly, no companion app required. Requires a touchscreen Edge (840 / 1040 / 1050) — tap-to-record needs a touchscreen. Battery and remaining time are shown on the camera itself (a Garmin BLE limitation prevents reading them here).

Just add this field to a data screen and start your activity — it finds and connects to your Osmo automatically.

OsmoTrack REC est un champ de données à ajouter à n'importe quel écran de course. Il se connecte automatiquement à votre Osmo et permet de :

• Enregistrer automatiquement, avec deux modes au choix dans les réglages de l'app :
– Seuils : filmer dans les montées, au-delà d'une vitesse, d'un seuil de fréquence cardiaque ou de puissance, à chaque tour, ou à intervalles réguliers — chaque déclencheur réglable.
– Highlights (adaptatif) : capte les meilleurs moments de votre sortie — sprints, montées et sommets de col, gros efforts, sections techniques — en apprenant ce qui est « normal » pour cette sortie. Un seul réglage de sensibilité, aucun seuil à régler. Idéal pour un best-of automatique tout en ménageant la batterie de la caméra.

• Toucher le champ pour démarrer/arrêter l'enregistrement — un appui manuel reste toujours prioritaire sur l'automatisation.
• Voir le mode caméra (Vidéo, Photo, Timelapse…) et l'état d'enregistrement en direct, avec un chronomètre à l'écran et une pastille AUTO.
• Incruster votre trace GPS dans la vidéo pendant l'effort.

Fonctionne seul — il se connecte directement à votre Osmo, sans app compagnon. Nécessite un Edge tactile (840 / 1040 / 1050) — le tap-pour-enregistrer requiert un écran tactile. La batterie et le temps restant s'affichent sur la caméra elle-même (une limite BLE de Garmin empêche de les lire ici).

Ajoutez simplement ce champ à un écran de données et démarrez votre activité — il trouve et se connecte à votre Osmo automatiquement.

OsmoTrack REC ist ein Datenfeld, das du zu jeder Aktivitätsseite hinzufügen kannst (im Edge unter: Aktivitätsprofile → Datenseiten → Seite auswählen → Layout und Datenfelder → Kategorie → Connect IQ → OsmoTrack REC). Wenn das Feld angelegt und das Profil aktiv ist, verbindet sich die Osmo automatisch mit deinem Edge und ermöglicht dir:

• Automatisch aufnehmen, mit zwei in den App-Einstellungen wählbaren Modi:
– Schwellenwerte (einstellbar): ab wie viel % Anstieg, ab welcher Geschwindigkeit, über einer Herzfrequenz oder ab welchem Leistungswert, bei jeder Runde oder in festen Intervallen — alles ist einstellbar.
– Highlights (adaptiv): erfasst automatisch die besten Momente deiner Ausfahrt — Sprints, Anstiege und Passhöhen, harte/hohe Belastungen, technische Passagen — indem erfasst wird, was für DIESE Ausfahrt besonders ist. Nur eine Empfindlichkeitseinstellung, keine Schwellenwerte nötig. Ideal für ein automatisches Best-of, das den Kamera-Akku schont.

• Tippe auf das Feld, um die Aufnahme zu starten/stoppen — ein manueller Tipp hat immer Vorrang vor der Automatik.
• Sieh den Kameramodus (Video, Foto, Zeitraffer…) und den Aufnahmestatus live, mit Timer und AUTO-Anzeige in deinem Garmin Edge.
• Bette deine GPS-Spur während der Fahrt ins Video ein.

Funktioniert eigenständig — verbindet sich direkt mit deiner Osmo, keine Begleit-App nötig. Erfordert einen Edge mit Touchscreen (840 / 1040 / 1050) — das manuelle Starten/Stoppen der Aufnahme erfolgt über das Datenfeld auf dem Touchscreen. Akkustand und Restzeit werden nur auf der Kamera selbst angezeigt (eine Bluetooth-Einschränkung von Garmin verhindert das Auslesen hier).
