SundialClock is a real sundial, computed for where you are. The hour lines are drawn for your latitude and the shadow follows the real sun: its direction gives the hour, its length changes with the height of the sun, long in the morning and in winter, short at noon in summer.

Like a real sundial it shows true solar time, which is not clock time: it depends on your longitude, on the time of year (up to 16 minutes) and on daylight saving time. The face tells you how far the clock is from the sun ("clock +1:00"). You can also choose to show clock time.

At night the sundial is silent (Sine sole sileo) and the moon takes over, with its phase and, when it is up, its shadow.

Five sundials:

Classic: bronze horizontal sundial with Roman hours and a Latin motto that changes every day
Minimal: one dot per hour and the shadow
Analemmatic: hours on an ellipse, the gnomon moves with the date, and the sun in numbers (latitude, declination, equation of time, hour angle, altitude)
Roman marble: a hemicyclium carved in marble; the tip of the shadow shows the temporal hour (twelve hours from sunrise to sunset) and the season
Black marble: the same sundial in negative, light lines and a light shadow on black stone; it lights few pixels, so it uses less battery on AMOLED screens
It works in both hemispheres: in the south the dial is mirrored. The watch face uses the last position known to the watch (from an activity or from the weather); you can also type a position in the settings.

SundialClock
