This simple widget totalizes the distance for the running activates recorded by your device and then allows the user to set a monthly distance target and monitor progress made towards that target. The information is displayed on either a glance screen (if enabled) or simple single graphic & trend.

The widget totals the distance stored locally on your device for the current month and displays that total in either km or miles along with the % progress made towards achieving your target distance.

As the widget relies on local FIT file data to calculate activity distance, clearing the cached history will also clear the historical information. Also, only activities recorded by the watch are included in the calculations. Those recorded using external apps such as TACX, along with manual activates added in the connect app, are unfortunately stored separately, and cannot be included in the data.

Settings available through the connect IQ or mobile app allow the user to set the desired target distance and color preferences. The distance target is specified as a nominal value and then depending on your specified unit of measure, set in your device, the progress will be displayed.
