Stretch Further+ builds on the already popular Stretch+ (https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/0c24a6bc-9599-4962-b1f2-8ab131797f30) by allowing you to create CUSTOM stretching workouts! The app comes with the following 5 predefined routines, which you can easily change in the app settings: Kick-Start Your Day, Best Night's Sleep, Better Flexibility, Runners Stretch, & Lower Back Stretches. You can configure 5 different stretching routines, with up to 10 stretches in each. You are able to set the stretch time, and any rest/transition time between them. You can also enable/disable sound & vibrate, and change the text colour of the exercise names during the workout and rest periods.

There is a countdown timer and image for each stretch to guide you through it, with 38 different stretches to choose from. You can also choose to have no image and enter your own stretch name, or use your own stretch name with one of the existing images.

At the end of a workout you can choose to save the session details to your Garmin account, or discard it. This appears in your activity timeline with the workout name as the activity name, and includes the time, your heart rate, and estimated calories burned.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.
