CatchLog Trial - fishing tracker

No feed. No public spots. No CatchLog account or server.

CatchLog Trial provides the same fishing workflow and visuals as the Pro edition during its trial period. Record a fishing session as a Garmin activity and save species, size, bait, pressure, available fishing conditions, and the current GPS position for each catch.

TRIAL LIMIT

Trial access ends after 24 elapsed hours from first launch.

There is no advance expiration warning. When the Trial ends, the app opens only its upgrade screen and saved Trial history is inaccessible. Trial data is not transferred to the separately installed Pro app. A normal update preserves Trial state. Uninstalling and reinstalling clears the app's local Trial history and may start a new offline Trial period.

CONTROLS

Use Up and Down to move, Select to activate or edit, Menu for settings, and Back to return. Touch interaction is available on touch-capable watches, with equivalent physical-button paths.

REQUIREMENTS AND DATA USE

Connect IQ API 3.2 or newer is required. GPS is required to save a catch location. Weather, native maps, actionable notifications, and app glances depend on watch capability and Garmin data availability. Permissions are used for positioning, activity recording, custom FIT fields, sensors and pressure history, background checks, native notifications, local storage, and local waypoints.

CatchLog itself does not upload or publicly share your spots. Your Garmin activity can sync through the watch's normal Garmin Connect settings; CatchLog's private spot-history database remains local to the app.

CatchLog is a personal logbook. Follow the fishing licence requirements, closed seasons, and minimum size limits that apply where you fish.
