Windward is a windsurfing watch face built around the wind station at your spot. The bottom half of the dial is the wind meter: speed in knots, gust and 15-minute average, direction with a travel arrow and cardinal, whether the wind is rising or falling, and dusk at the spot, the last of the light, so you know how long you have. A LIVE tag shows while the reading is under ten minutes old; older readings turn grey and show their age.

- Pick your station: about 1,190 active wind stations in 94 countries, listed by country, Bat Galim (Haifa) by default; readings refresh every five minutes through your phone
- Air temperature from the station, with the watch's weather as fallback
- Date and time; 12- or 24-hour following the watch setting
- Always-on mode on AMOLED watches shows date, time and the wind speed in a thin, warm grey that shifts each minute
- Settings in Garmin Connect: the face's color (ten choices) and the station

The wind data needs a one-time unlock ($5.99, no subscription, through KiezelPay): after installing, the face shows a six-digit code; enter it at kzl.io/code, pay, and the wind appears within five minutes. The face requests Background and Communications permissions to fetch the station page through the phone. It sends nothing about you: the only requests are to the wind station's public page and to KiezelPay to check the unlock (your watch's device id, nothing else). No data is collected.
