I think this is the first map widget on the Garmin store that doesn't require a companion app.  You can get a live map instantly, and even during an activity.

# Features
* Street map with street names, administrative boundaries, places of interest, greenspaces, schools, hospitals, transit, airports, buildings, and bodies of water shown.
* Current position marked with "+" symbol
* Multi-level zoom in/out by tapping screen on upper/lower half of screen for watches with touch screens or pressing DOWN/UP buttons 
* Directional compass (north is marked with an arrow)
* Map rotates depending on your orientation
* 1 second update rate 
* Able to work off your live GPS position or last known position

# PRO Version Features
* Settable 3D pitch view
* Numerical compass heading indication
* Outdoors/trail mode map with contour lines (Only suitable for Venu 2, Venu 2S, Venu 2 Plus, D2 Air X10 and Epix Gen 2 watches and Edge devices; Somewhat usable on Venu and D2 Air watches)
* Place destination pin on the map
* Display distance to destination pin when set
* Optional altitude display
* Option to lock map orientation with north always at the top of the screen
* Adjustable update rate

# Instructions
Get a (free) access token from https://mapbox.com and enter it in the "Mapbox access token" setting.  Use https://www.vccgenerator.org/ to generate dummy credit card info for the Mapbox registration.

Save the access token setting, activate the widget with GPS available.

# Notes
This widget works by using bluetooth communication to the Garmin Connect app on your phone.  
If you are streaming music to bluetooth headphones, the map acquisition may not work as this can overload the bluetooth communications channel. Just put your headphones on pause to get around this.
