The so called Ewing Test evaluates your autonomic regulation. This biofeedback can give insights to your regeneration, fitness and stress. During change of positions physiological response of your heart rate is measured and a ratio between laying down and standing is being calculated, that represents the response of your body.

NOTE: this is not a medical product, it is not meant for diagnosis!

How to start:

- Install Ewing-Test Widget from ConnectIQ Store
- After sync you may find it in your Widget List
- Lay down, select Ewing-Test and press Start. 
- Be relaxed and wait for 3 minutes until an alarm goes off
- Follow the instructions, stand up and press start again
- Stand comfortably and wait for another 45 seconds
- Result is calculated 

Normal response: Higher than or equal to 1,04
Borderline response: 1,03 – 1,01
Low response: lower than or equal to 1,00


For best use:
- Chest straps are more accurate than optical HR but it works fine as well since the user hardly moves
