DreamDoc turns your Garmin watch into a personal recovery and readiness system. 

It does not judge you against a population average. It learns your own pattern of heart rate, HRV, stress, respiration, SpO2 and sleep, then shows whether last night was usual for you, whether you recovered while you slept, and whether the last few nights are drifting.

What the DreamDoc app adds to your Garmin:

(1) Morning baseline report 
After sleep, you get a clear readout of last night against your own 28-night baseline: what is in range, what changed, how you recovered, and how this compares with recent nights and your stronger range over the last six months. 

(2) Brain readiness (PVT-B)
A 3-minute reaction-time test after waking. You get an objective alertness result, explained in context of last night’s sleep and recovery, plus how this test compares with your recent ones.

(3) HRV check and intervention recording
A 3- or 5-minute HRV test (RMSSD30) to measure where you are now, and to record interventions against that reading.

Baseline and result reports need a free DreamDoc registration, server uplink and data sharing. DreamDoc shows your own physiological patterns.

IMPORTANT RULES:

Wear your Garmin during sleep

Nighttime data is the most important period for meaningful baseline calculation. Without sleep data, DreamDoc cannot create reliable baselines.

Allow Garmin history data during authorization

DreamDoc needs at least 3 nights of data for a first evaluation. Allowing history data helps shorten the waiting time and gives the system more context.

Make sure your Garmin sync is complete

Sometimes the morning sync does not finish immediately. If Garmin has not sent the latest data yet, DreamDoc cannot calculate updated baselines. Open Garmin Connect, complete the sync, and give DreamDoc a few minutes to process the data.
