With the Pro version you get (configurable in Garmin Express) :
- custom background color
- 7 custom datafields where you can display 12 different datatypes : 
steps, altitude, distance, calories, daily goal for steps, digital time, date, year, utc time and timezone, sunset and sunrise time.
- custom center : date or icons that show : 
 sleepmode, vibration on/off, tones on/off, activityrecording on/off, alarm on/off, notification indicator, sunrise and sunsettime
- bluetooth indicator

NOTE : altitude may require you calibrate your watch which is easily done with the Garmin built-in altitude widget
NOTE : distance and altitude are shown in miles/kilometres and feet/metres depending on your setting in the Garmin menu of the watch !
