Lap-based pacing for indoor fitness races – 8 runs, 8 stations, Roxzone, without GPS.

Roxguru guides you through an indoor fitness race in the HYROX® format: 8 runs, each followed by a
Roxzone and a workout station. It gives you accurate running pace indoors, where GPS does not work.

How it works
- Set your course once: the lap length and the number of laps for each run (partial laps allowed,
e.g. 2.62 laps). The watch then knows the exact distance of every lap.
- Press LAP at the end of every lap and at every Roxzone / station change. Pace is computed from
the lap length and your lap time, so it is reliable on any indoor track.
- Between laps a live pace is shown, from the wrist accelerometer or a paired foot pod, recalibrated
on every lap against the real lap length.
- Optional targets: run pace, a target time for each station and a total Roxzone time. The main
number during the race is your delta to the plan, plus an estimated finish time.
- Hold LAP to undo a mistaken press (also in the pause menu).
- Distinct vibration patterns for laps and segment changes, so you don't need to look.

After the race
- The race is saved as an Indoor Running activity (or HIIT, selectable) in Garmin Connect, with one
lap per run lap, Roxzone and station, and extra charts: segment type, lap pace, live pace, run
  distance and Roxzone time.

Settings
- Course and targets: in the Garmin Connect app (Connect IQ app settings).
- Minimum lap / station time, foot pod, activity type and diagnostics: on the watch, from the start
  menu.

Requirements and limitations
- GPS is never used. Distance comes from your lap settings, so laps must be pressed.
- The native distance in Garmin Connect is the accelerometer / foot pod distance; the lap-based
run distance is a separate chart.
- Distance the watch measures during stations is part of the activity distance (and of your weekly
running totals when recorded as Indoor Running). Choose HIIT as activity type to avoid this.
- Heart rate from the optical sensor or a paired strap, if available.
