Running on an indoor track with some odd size like 13 laps per mile?  Want to see the number of laps you have completed without getting out a calculator?  This data field looks at your elapsed distance and does the math for you!

After you complete and save your indoor run, this data field will also store the number of laps completed in the FIT file that gets uploaded to Garmin Connect and Garmin Connect Mobile.

Note that after you install the data field, in order to use this you will need to do the following:

1) Add the data field to one of your data screens on your indoor run (or other run) app.
2) Configure the number of laps per distance and the distance units (laps per mile or laps per KM) in the app settings in Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile.

Currently the data field is only in English.  I am working on adding support for other languages -- please let me know which ones you want!
