The official timer begins at zero and provides familiar timing cues so you can stay aware of your pace without constantly checking your watch.

MADE FOR RIDING

During active timing:

• Touch input is ignored
• Accidental swipes cannot change your target
• BACK is locked
• Physical buttons remain the primary controls
• Maximum display brightness is requested

When paused or ready, touch controls remain available for touch-first Garmin watches.

On supported models, rotate the entire timer display in 45° steps for easier viewing when the watch is worn on the inside of your wrist.

RECORD YOUR RIDE

Starting the official timer automatically begins a horseback-riding FIT activity.

When finished:

SAVE & EXIT
Keeps the activity and returns to your watch.

DISCARD & EXIT
Removes the activity after confirmation.
