ALWAYS-ON, ULTRA-LOW POWER: in low-power mode the face lights only a few dim pixels on an otherwise black screen — off pixels cost an AMOLED display nothing, so the always-on view barely touches your battery, and the pattern shifts periodically to protect the panel from burn-in. The always-on view now shows the fill level too, as a calm flat line.

Big digital numbers that fill with a liquid — the level is your battery (or any metric you pick) and it drains through the day. The surface ripples while you look at it; the colour shifts from green to red as it empties. Simple, legible, and a little bit alive.

3 settings in Garmin Connect: open your watch, then Watch Face, then Tide, then Settings. Pick what fills the numbers — battery, body battery, step goal, calories, intensity and more — and the two colours of the fill (empty and full), on the watch or in Garmin Connect.

line with EU data protection law (GDPR). Switch it off any time under
Settings, Share usage stats.
