What is SwingTraining?

Automatic swing detection and tempo training for golf, baseball, and tennis — powered entirely by your Garmin watch's built-in accelerometer. No phone. No external sensors.

AUTO Detection
7-layer algorithm detects every swing automatically — no button press during practice. Covers golf clubs (3I–PW), aluminum bat, wood bat, and tennis racket.

Tempo Analysis
Measures backswing vs. downswing timing separately. Evaluates each swing against sport-specific targets with four quality grades: EX / GD / FA / PO.

Garmin Connect FIT
Sessions save as standard Garmin FIT activities with 16 custom data fields — session summaries and per-swing charts sync to Garmin Connect automatically.

Adaptive Threshold
Detection sensitivity auto-calibrates from your last 10 swings (min. 5). Adapts to each person's individual swing strength. Manual reset in Settings.

4-Page Session Stats
After each session: Summary overview, Tempo trend graph, Quality distribution chart, and Swing timing (ABDIF) analysis. Navigate with UP / DOWN.

Left & Right Handed
Full support for both orientations via the on-watch Settings menu. Club selection and handedness persist automatically across sessions.
